#tressviernes

I love having my hair blown dry because it's always so silky smooth and my hair doesn't go "hey look at me! I'm so frizzy!", but when that morning comes and it's time to wash my hair, I go Debbie-Downer mode. No matter how many times I attempted on blowdrying my own hair straight and silky smooth, I always end up tying my hair to a tight bun concealing the frizz.

The Balm En Root Hair Shine Serum, PhP 595.00 PhP 535.50

(Click READ MORE to know more...)

What was formulated to bring out your hair's natural glow and restore the shine, is suddenly a hair tamer and treatment!

Not only does this product give a temporary shine, but in time, it heals your hair's cuticles to prevent it from splitting and drying.

Infused with Argan Oil and Vitamins A, C and E, this product will sure give your hair a good coat that protects it also from impurities (ex. smoke, heat, and pollution).

I love the size of the product. I think the price is very much worth it!

After I got my hair color, treatment and Brazilian Blowout last Sunday, hair expert Fred Penales told me to stay away from products that contain Sulfate because this will shorten the life span of my treatments and color. So when I go to a salon for a blow-dry, I always ask for sulfate-free shampoo. They keep these in the back, so always ask for it if you have colored or treated hair.

The product has the same consistency as a makeup primer. You know, the velvet-y smooth and silky feel to the touch. The serum has a transparent consistency, and not to mention, it smells of sweet coconut, and maybe vanilla? I'm not quite sure.

You can see the shine it left on my skin. But after a while, this dries up though. Of course, it has a different effect on the skin versus the hair.

When your hair goes through a very traumatic treatment like bleaching, coloring, or anything with chemicals and burning, it will dry up. You won't see it right after you leave that salon, you will notice it after you shower and has air or blown dried.

This is me with buhaghag hair. This is blown dried with heat so the ends are very dry. Ugh. I wish I had my own personal hairstylist that would fix my hair for me every morning.

After I applied a nickel size amount of product on my palm, I rubbed my hands together to "heat" the product and applied it on my hair concentrating on the ends of my hair where it needs more "taming".

It still had the frizz and it still looks dry but it's not as wild anymore.
