It's always a good day when I'm talking about lippies! I am a lippie kinda gal so these always excite me, most specially when I make new discoveries.

I have been hiatus for the past 2 years since my daughter was born. Breast feeding and teaching at The Center for Aesthetic Studies took a lot of my time. But it also gave me some time to do a whole lot of online shopping.

So, now let's talk lippies.

I was told that ColourPop has been popping up everywhere for a while now. I Googled reviews for it here in the Philippines but found no detailed info how they fair. I didn't discover ColourPop until a few months ago. I have been suffering from sleepless nights recently ever since we moved houses, and online [window] shopping is my ultimate companion.

After researching a lot online, I found a legit seller on Instagram who sells authentic ColourPop cosmetics from the US. I did not want to buy from Shopee or Lazada because a lot of those sellers sell counterfeit. I mean have you read my first shopping experience at Lazada?

Ugh. I'm sick. Again.

One of the hardest things about going through pregnancy with a toddler is that they bring all kinds of viruses. Just when you thought your immune system is strong enough, you're wrong. When I was pregnant with Henri, I never got a cold. But with this pregnancy, it seems every time Henri brings home a cold, I can't seem to escape it! Ugh! I'm now addicted to Berocca, and have face masks in stock.

That's the reason why I haven't blogged in 2 days. But I am feeling slightly better to sit long enough to write. And to make me feel better and cheery, I would like to tell you all about the recent Sleek Matte Me lippie haul I had. Red lipsticks always make me smile. Not only does red lipstick makes anyone feel powerful, but red lippies give a sort of confidence in a woman when she wears one. I love how dressy you feel and look when you wear a good red lippie, so every time I receive a tube red lipstick, it's always welcome. I will never get tired of wearing red lipsticks.

Almost a year ago, I had high tea with the Calyxta girl and talked about OFRA lipsticks. Bianca Valerio showed us some techniques in applying lipsticks, and also showed us her favorites from the liquid lipstick line and which one were dupes from other brands.

According to Clinique, matte lippie is the new black. And with this statement, I have to say, I do love a good matte where lips are concerned. Firstly, one of my requirements when choosing a good matte lipstick is 1) they cannot make make my lips more dry, 2) I don't want my lips to flake, 3) I want to barely notice it there, and 4) It's got to be long wearing. My list actually goes on and on when choosing the right matte lipstick, but these 4 will have to do for now. These seem like impossible requirements for one matte product, but they do exist!

Just when you thought Revlon was late for the liquid matte lipstick party, they come out with three amazing new Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor liquid lippies. I have always loved Revlon and their abililty to keep their makeup line young and fresh that appeal not only to older women, but young adults too (Thank you Emma Stone!).

Revlon has done it again with these new lippies with their very cute packaging and really highly pigmented formulation that lasts all day! So here’s a closer look at the brand new Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color. If liquid lipstick is your thing, get ready to need them all!

So the formulation of these new matte lip colors are really lovely. It is highly pigmented, and gives the lips great definition -plus it feels light yet moisturising.

After you see these liquid velvet matte lipsticks from Pink Sugar, you'll be saying, "Kylie who?" I never found the appeal of Kylie's lipsticks because I knew that there are good local brands in the market now that offer the same lippies that are equally good, and one of these brands is Pink Sugar. The newly released Sugar Tint shades include: Code Red, Vampy Vixen, Queen Bee, Honey Bunny, and Naughty Nude are the ones that resemble Kylie Jenner's collection the most.

Ever since Pink Sugar launched last year, I have been hooked to the brand. They offer so much great products at a very reasonable price, and their products are of good quality. Their Sweet Cheeks blush range is to die for, and there's one for every skin tone.

In the lipstick world, MAC pretty much has it covered specially when it comes to matte lipsticks. Their matte lipsticks are rather amazing and provide a fantastically matte finish that a lot of other companies simply can’t reproduce -they have been the pioneers in matte lipsticks.

That's it. I found the perfect red, and I found the perfect formula for it too. It's so easy for me to pour my heart into this because I fell in love with this lippie from Sleek Cosmetics the moment I tried it on.

I have been familiar with Sleek Cosmetics for as long as I have been a makeup artist. One of the products that I frequented were the Pout Paints. I would ask relatives who lived abroad to buy them for me because it was unavailable here.

 But now that Sleek has been launched here, I am over the roof happy because they have some pretty serious and competitive stuff that every makeup artist would enjoy!

The original Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks from Estee Lauder that was released last year were one of my favorite lip products from Estee Lauder. So I was so excited when a high-shine version of those lippies were released for Spring 2015. The Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick features a pigmented, creamy and high-shine formulation that truly hugs the lips to accentuate the curves of the lips.

For those of you who already know, I am a lippie kinda gal. Yes. I will die without lippies, specially really loud, attention grabbers, kinda lippies. I love them in all shades, even in bright orange or dark purple. Although I recently realized that deep purples do not look so good on me, I love them nonetheless.

I am not a lipgloss kinda gal, but this new lip gloss from Happy Skin may have changed my mind.

I have always loved anything girly-looking even though I don't act and dress up like one! Every time I pass by an Etude House store, I am always drawn to go in to look at their stuff even though I won't buy anything -I just love browsing their store. This is the first time I will be reviewing and using Etude House lipsticks so this is actually a pretty exciting post (well, for me at least)!

When I was 14, one of the first lipsticks I ever bought was Revlon. Remember "Toast of New York"? It was my favorite Revlon shade and I even had the blush to match. I would save up my allowance just so I can keep up with my "luho".

Revlon sent me their new Ultra HD Lipsticks a couple of months back but when I was pregnant, so now I can really tell you what I think of these lippies since I have been using them a lot for the past months because I just love them. Really, I love them.

Tony Moly has recently become a brand close to my heart because my skin really agrees with their products. The Banana Sleeping Pack is just one of those products that has worked really well for me. And now moving on with their makeup line, this will be my first review on one of their lip products, and this one is called the Kiss Lover Lip Master.

I love it when it rains lippies! One of my favorite brands, Maybelline has sent me 11 new amazing shades from the REBEL BOUQUET collection! Here's something not a lot of people know: These lippies are called Rebel Bloom in the United States and Rebel Bouquet in the UK, same as here in the Philippines. This new collection is more about bright, colorful floral shades and most of them will suit the Filipina skin tone.

I am back with another Estee Lauder lippie post – I do love this brand when it comes to lippies because their lipsticks are so nice and juicy! Liquid lipsticks are one of my favorite lip products because of the pigment and the longevity of them. I can eat, drink, and talk and not have to worry about lipstick ending up on my teeth or my glass. I have used Revlon and Lancome's liquid lipsticks before and I was very happy with those!

So when I received this liquid lipstick from Wet n' Wild, I was really excited to use it since I haven't tried any of the brand's liquid lippies.

I have been dying to share these swatches for a while now, but as I have mentioned in my previous blog post, I have been kept occupied preparing for the baby. But now that I am settled and I have more or less everything, I finally have the time to sit down and blog about these!

This lippie has got to be one for the books! The first time I saw this lippie was on my friend and fellow beauty blogger, Martha Sta. Barbara of The Beauty Junkee. I saw her wearing a shade of lipstick in a perfect red and I just had to find out what it was! Then she told me that it was the lippie we all got from the Closeup Diamond Attraction launch, so YAY!! I have it!

I received this NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil from the Closeup Diamond Attraction Event press kit. This was included in the kit because it is one of Heart Evangelista's picks for must-haves in her cosmetic case, and I just fell in love with it!

I can't help but feel proud of where Liz has arrived today. So, before anything else, I want to say, congratulations Liz!
