Red lipsticks always make me smile. Not only does red lipstick makes anyone feel powerful, but red lippies give a sort of confidence in a woman when she wears one. I love how dressy you feel and look when you wear a good red lippie, so every time I receive a tube red lipstick, it's always welcome. I will never get tired of wearing red lipsticks.

Almost a year ago, I had high tea with the Calyxta girl and talked about OFRA lipsticks. Bianca Valerio showed us some techniques in applying lipsticks, and also showed us her favorites from the liquid lipstick line and which one were dupes from other brands.

OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Atlantic City, PhP 850

One of the best things about OFRA is that it has a very pleasant smell, at least for me. It's not sickly sweet nor does it smell like perfume. It's just very pleasant to me, sort of like a light vanilla, or maybe some kind of a dessert smell but it won't make you cringe because it is overpowering.
I won't make this a long post because I already reviewed some of OFRA's lipsticks almost two years ago, I really just want to show you how much I love this shade of red!

They have since reduced their price of their long lasting liquid lipstick from PhP 950 to PhP 850. Which I think is a more reasonable price.
It has a really smooth and liquid finish and glides on the lips easily. You will just have to start with as little product as possible because this lippie is a little unforgiving if you apply outside the line. You will have a hard time erasing it! I suggest using a lip liner when trying to apply a lipstick that is hard to apply like this one. Either choosing a shade that is closest to the lipstick you wanna apply or a nude shade.
It takes a few seconds for the lippie to set into a matte finish. But while it's wet, it has a wet-look finish, not really glossy. This is just a single swipe of Atlantic City. It's just gorgeous!
This red shade comes pretty darn close to Sleek Matte Me in Rioja Red, but I find Sleek's more tattoo-ish. This one has a sort-of creamy finish that is not exactly glossy like Revlon's Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in HD Love.
I adore this shade of red because it's not the overly bright one that is bordering on neon, and it's not the really deep one like wine. It's a true basic red that goes with any skin tone, in my opinion.
