So this is Clinique's version of the "new matte". Clinique promises us a non-drying, and comfortable texture, that locks in moisture whilst still delivering that high impact colour we are all craving for in basically a single swipe.

I am so loving the texture and pigmentation so much, and the feel on the lips is extremely comfortable, like a velvety balm. You won't constantly have that urge to lick your lips when wearing it, as you would with other matte lipsticks. 

As an instant fan of the Pop Lip Colour+Primer already, I would definitely recommend this to matte lovers everywhere! A good liquid matte, or a typical matte lipstick would cost at least PhP 800, and for the extra pesos, this is definitely worth it, costing at only PhP 1,100!
I am a red lippie kind of gal -and just some of my recent favorite matte red lippies include Sleek's Matte Me in Rioja Red, Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Superb Wine, NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Dragon Girl, and Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Cassis.

Clinique's New Pop Matte Lip Colour+Primer actually reminds me of Happy Skin's Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lippies in terms of finish, pigment, and comfortable wear.
I am definitely buying another color of Pop Matte! I am so in love with this moisturizing matte lipstick, and I think that the price is really worth it.
