It's been a while since I posted anything about beauty, and most of you are here to read about beauty stuff so, here you go.

Let me tell you all about Clinique's version of makeup remover wipes. That is, if you haven't heard about it yet. Don't get hung up on the fancy name, it's basically makeup removing wipes that uses micellar water. It's gentle on the face, the eyes, the lips and yet so effective! So it's definitely worth giving it a second look.

When I received this from Clinique, I was quite intimidated and did not want to use it because I thought it had some special way to use. But once you get passed the fact that it's from Clinique, you will find how it is so useful, especially on those lazy nights when you're just too tired to wash your face.

According to Clinique, matte lippie is the new black. And with this statement, I have to say, I do love a good matte where lips are concerned. Firstly, one of my requirements when choosing a good matte lipstick is 1) they cannot make make my lips more dry, 2) I don't want my lips to flake, 3) I want to barely notice it there, and 4) It's got to be long wearing. My list actually goes on and on when choosing the right matte lipstick, but these 4 will have to do for now. These seem like impossible requirements for one matte product, but they do exist!

I have always been a fan of facial exfoliation because I love how the skin glows after. I exfoliate my face once a week, or at the most, twice.

When Clinique sent me their Sonic System I was over the moon excited! I have been obsessing over it for the past months actually and now I get to experience it myself first hand. I'm going to combine two reviews today which includes the Sonic System, and their latest foundation innovation: Beyond Perfecting Foundation+Concealer.
When I think about it, it's a bit weird how I am really digging the Clarisonic and the Clinique Sonic System. But here's the thing: I see the benefits in each of them. As far as I'm concerned, there isn't a best brush or the best sonic cleansing brush set – there is a brush/cleansing brush that is best fit for you and your skin.

I have always believed in cleansing oils. In ever interview I ever did, when I am asked what my favorite beauty product was/is, I would always say: Cleansing Oil. The reason why I love cleansing oils is that it erases everything I put on my face at night. I love playing with makeup and wearing them the whole day, and when I get home and I am going to bed, I want to be dirt, oil, and makeup free and cleansing oils do that!

After giving birth, like I have mentioned in most of my recent posts, my skin has felt really rough because it's so dry! I guess my hormones are still a little crazy and I still haven't restored more of my sebum back, so I need cleansing oils to remove makeup and cleanse my face, heavier creams for day and night, and avoid alcohol-based toners. I am also using loads of serums which really help my skin a lot.

I have tried several cleansing oils in the past, but only few tickle my fancy. And this is one of them!

During my first trimester, I was still wearing makeup ever time I would step out of the house, but as my pregnancy entered the second trimester, I was all about dressing for comfort and that meant going out almost makeup-free.

It didn't have anything to do with concern for makeup ingredients, it was more on laziness. Seriously, I never thought that I would be attending parties last holiday season makeup-free, but I did. With only little makeup on. Thank goodness for makeup like these for preggy times! LOL

When I received these chubby sticks from Clinique, I thought I would only be able to use them under lipstick because they're so cheer, but it actually makes me look put-together even without full makeup on!

Receiving the latest makeup from different brand is always welcome! I love getting to know latest products and tell you girls all about them, specially to all you makeup artists out there! Lately, I have developed an aversion to heavy, liquid or cream foundations. That's the pregnancy talking, by the way. So lately, I have been opting for light, barely-there CC creams that would certainly do the job without the extra weight on my skin.

Even though my skin is extremely dry now a days and is needing some maximum moisture that I can get from liquid and creamy foundations, I find myself turning away from them lately. So I have been rotating my tinted moisturizers, BB and CC Creams.

My first impression of this foundation when I swatched it on my hand was that I thought it was a little bit too creamy. But after wearing it on my face, I found it quite comfortable and very light to wear! It's oil-free so it was a little bit hard to apply on my exceptionally dry pregnant skin but surprisingly it didn't make my skin feel taught and uncomfortable.
