Liquid lipsticks are one of my favorite lip products because of the pigment and the longevity of them. I can eat, drink, and talk and not have to worry about lipstick ending up on my teeth or my glass. I have used Revlon and Lancome's liquid lipsticks before and I was very happy with those!

So when I received this liquid lipstick from Wet n' Wild, I was really excited to use it since I haven't tried any of the brand's liquid lippies.

To be quite honest, I am intimidated with the ingredients list of this lippie because I don't recognize one ingredient on the list. I only recognized the beeswax and that one is synthetic. So I wouldn't recommend this product to those who are looking for something organic or made with natural ingredients.

Ingredients: Isododecane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Hydrogenated Polycyclopentadiene, Synthetic Beeswax, Disteardimonium Hectorite, VP/Elcosene, Copolymer, Microcrystalline Wax/Cire microcrystalline, Methyl Methacrylate, Crosspolymer, Cyclopentasiloxane, Propylene Carbonate, Barium Sulfate, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Diolexyl Tocopheryl Methylsilanol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Tocopherol, Crithmum Maritimum Extract, Oleyl Alcohol, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate (in 926A), Calsium Aluminum Borocilicate (in 926A, 927A), Silica (in 920A, 926A, 927A), [+/- (May contain/Peut Contenir): Blue 1 Lake/Cl 420, Carmine/Cl 75470, Iron Oxides/Cl 77491, CL77492, Cl 77499, Mica Red 29, Lake/Cl (the rest of the ingredients are unreadable due to poor printing quality)

This lip color goes on like a lipgloss when you first apply it but quickly dries to a matte, highly pigmented finish. This lipstick can stay on all day and takes an emollient product to remove. I have to use waterproof eye makeup remover on my lips to remove it!
It comes in a very sleek packaging, and the shades are identifiable. The applicator is velour which makes it glide nicely on the lips, and you can shape your lips properly with the tip. You have to apply it carefully though because if you make a mistake, this lippie sets quite fast and you might end up with an uneven lip or some smudges.
It's really great! I have often been asked if I am wearing MAC's Ruby Woo whenever I am wearing this. Although in my opinion, I think this is bit brighter than Ruby Woo and I think the staying power is much, much longer.
This is how the lippie looks like when it's freshly applied. It looks a bit glossy but it will set after a few minutes to a deeper shade of red and it will look more matte.
Here's the lippie after it has set on my lips! The only tip I can give you is, your lips must be in good condition before applying. Make sure that you exfoliate the lips and condition with petroleum jelly or lip balm the night before like crazy...and when applying this lippie on your lips, apply a thin and even layer, don't over do it, going back and forth layering it on like you would with a regular lipstick.

This stuff actually dries on like paint. You will never have to worry about it smudging, feathering, or leaving a print on your cup. Some liquid lipsticks, liquid mattes, or matte lipsticks tend to dry out my lips but, but this totally sets on my lips without drying them out.
After 4 and a half hours of wear with absolutely no retouch, I ate lunch and have been drinking water from a glass, this is how the lipstick looks like when I got home!
On my face, I am using: MAC Prep+Prime Natural Radiance, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, set with Maybelline's White SuperFresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder, Happy Skin Eye Love View Pencil and Marker Eyebrow Duo for my brows, Bobbi Brown Blush in Berry, Canmake Nose Shadow Powder, finished with Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara.
