Despite Clinique being one of the most hypoallergenic company there is in the world of cosmetics today, my skin can never seem to respond to Clinique products. For some reason, my skin flakes and dries, and so for years I avoided Clinique thinking we were just not M.F.E.O. -My skin is picky and weird that way! Ugh.

Until recently... Clinique has reformulated their "Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion", taking them more than 6 years to revamp, and has now come up with the NEW and improved formula: Lotion + (plus)!

I received this beautiful sample from Clinique, and just in time too! I had just run out of moisturizer, and opening a fresh bottle of product is always welcome! It's just looooove.

Nope! This ain't your momma's old Clinique formula. I love that my skin is so supple and dewy after I use this, but it's perfectly O-tay to use before makeup. Non-greasy or sticky, this moisturizer is perfect for our hot humid climate.

I always keep my daytime moisturizer as thin as possible, because under it, I still apply sunblock. So I don't want too much moisturizer before makeup because my skin tends to get pretty oily specially in the T-Zone.

The new plus formula is lightweight, but provides the best possible hydration power that flaky women need without the grease! Eeeew. I am happy because I found my skin responsive to the new + formula.

I'm not sure if the actual product has a pump. If it does, then great! If not, that would be a no-no for me though (again, sucker for great packaging). Having to tap the whole bottle at the back of my hand to "release" some product is very hard to control, and I always end up having too much product on my hand, and I end up with a thick layer of moisturizer which takes longer to get absorbed!

So, yay for pump, and nay for wide open bottle. But all in all, two thumbs up for this wonderful moisturizer! I don't want to hit pan! Not just yet! It's 100% fragrance free so the moisturizer smells kind of raw, but I guess that's a good thing. Although I wouldn't mind a little bit of fragrance to mask the smell.
