Seeing Red

Let me tell you about the eye shadow I discovered recently. I was at Watson's looking for sponges and my eye caught Ever Bilena's Eyeshadow Quartet. A beautiful eyeshadow palette that is composed entirely of matte eyeshadows. I just fell in love with it immediately!

Ever Bilena Matte Eyeshadow Quartet, PhP 150.00/palette
They had a few palettes available but these are the two palettes that caught my eye because they are not the typical neutral shades. These eye shadows beat Fanny Serrano's shadows in terms of pigment. I love FS eyeshadows but they hardly have matte shadows, plus, the pigment is not that strong too. But with these eyeshadows, a little sweep with your brush in these goes a long way!

Forest Nymph
The first palette is Forest Nymph. I will do a tutorial on this palette soon so watch out for that. I love the colors. They look quite simple but the combination is beautiful and they complement each other. I think that they really captured the colors of the forest. Well, I think so. LOL

Here are the swatches of the Forest Nymph:

So the next palette I got is the Golden Siren. The reason I bought it is for the red eyeshadow. I have been looking for a nice red eyeshadow that is budget friendly because it's such a trendy color. So this one takes the cake!

The red eyeshadow is really my favorite because it has a burgundy hue to it too. The consistency is not at all chalky, and it glides on easily. The pigment is high so you only need a little product. Easily blendable too!

I made a tutorial on this palette, click HERE to watch it.
