One of the best things about having bleached eyebrows (not necessarily blonde), is that it brightens up the entire face. Rule of thumb is, your brows should be about 1/2 to 1 shade lighter than your natural hair color. If you already have naturally blonde hair, then you can go 1/2 to 1 shade darker than your natural har color.

I have been bleaching my eyebrows for 7 years. My makeup artist friend Jigs Mayuga was the one who taught me how lightened eyebrows can brighten up the look. We were at a shoot and he had Sally Hansen bleach with him and he just bleached my eyebrows. I have been bleaching them ever since.

It probably takes a full 2 months for your eyebrows to go back to it's original color (depends on how fast they grow). I give it about a month of rest, and then I bleach them again when I have an important occasion to attend. I don't bleach when my hair has regrown already, and has restored its natural dark brown color.

It doesn't have harmful chemicals, and the solution is actually mild compared to hair dyes which actually burn. There is slight tingling when you apply them on your brows, but not enough to cause to much of an "Ouchie" factor.
