Ombre lips has been around for a while but I just currently jumped on the bandwagon. I think they're sexy and it's a fun new way to update your look not only this summer but for any other time of the year!

I finally got Covergirl's Blast Flipstick Lipstick after seeing it on Sofia Vergara. The sales associate at the CG counter told me that she was wearing the shade STUNNER, and of course, she had me at Sofia Vergara.

They come in 5 fantastic shades in the counter, but more are available exclusively online.


Their shades are fantastic! They're subtle and very wearable! The mixture of shades are not avant garde-ly done so you can definitely wear them day or night.

You can layer on the shimmer orange/gold lip color as a topper, or you can "design" where you want the gold accents would be! You can also invert it, use the gold as your base, and color the inner part of your lips with the red lippie! Go nuts!

This is the STUNNER when worn. I applied the red lippie on my entire lip area and accented my inner lip with the gold shimmer. Since the gold is very faint, I patted my inner lip area with gold shimmer eyeshadow.

The formula is creamy, and it glides on smoothly so you don't have to struggle. Even after you put on the topper, you can blot and the effect stays! You can eve gloss it up and the colors won't mix.

Since I am basically featuring mainly on Ombre lips, I did a few Ombre Lip looks for you guys using my existing regular lipsticks that I already had!
