I used to have a love-hate relationship with my razor… only because I shave like a man! My hair grows really fast, and really dark and thick too. And it’s not just me –I learned that Filipinas are afraid to lift their arms and expose their armpits. I mean, I feel that too!

Our underarm skin gets damaged each time we shave. It usually takes a week for the skin to heal from the trauma, but because we have to shave every day (well, for me at least), our skin doesn't have enough time to heal itself. Hence, the rough, dark underarms.

A couple of months ago, I was sent this cute gift set by Elella Cosmetics so that I can try some of their best sellers.

I just love trying out new beauty products because one thing I love other than trying them out, is talking about them and sharing them with you! To be quite honest, I haven't heard some of these products before and I am surprised that they are really big abroad and they are actually being sold in the Philippines! It's always good to know that we have so much options now in the market!

As we all know, Malaysians, Koreans, and the Japanese are big on Skin Care and that's why these products are worth trying!

Hey ladies! Ugh. Sorry it took so long for me to post this. I usually post first thing in the morning, but I was suffering from bad stomach flu and I just felt nauseated and had my stomach twisting in nots. Gross. But thank God I feel so much better now, I am able to sit down and finish this post.

Taking the day off your face should be as much fun as it is putting it on. I love makeup but I love having to take it off just as much at the end of the day. On days I am just at home or just running some errands, I go makeup-free allowing my skin to breathe. Honestly, I only wear makeup on events because I love having my skin breathe, not only is it liberating to be sans makeup once in a while, but it's healthy on your skin too! So when you see me at the mall, I am almost always makeup free.

So, taking off makeup should be convenient because some women just want to sleep when they get home. Sometimes, when I get home from an event and I am dead tired and I still have mommy duties, I have little time to remove my makeup so I prefer using cleansing wipes to remove my makeup. Something I can do while watching the baby in his playpen. It seems as soon as I became a mom, I have to learn how to do everything fast, or even multi-task. That's it. I found the perfect red, and I found the perfect formula for it too. It's so easy for me to pour my heart into this because I fell in love with this lippie from Sleek Cosmetics the moment I tried it on.

I have been familiar with Sleek Cosmetics for as long as I have been a makeup artist. One of the products that I frequented were the Pout Paints. I would ask relatives who lived abroad to buy them for me because it was unavailable here.

 But now that Sleek has been launched here, I am over the roof happy because they have some pretty serious and competitive stuff that every makeup artist would enjoy!

I remember mentioning in social media that I was running low on my DOVE deodorant (which is really the brand that I find myself keep coming back to), and a few days later after going deodorant-free for about 4 days (as a result of my business with moving), I was sent a gift basket by DOVE with personal care products in time for Valentine's Day.

Coming up with a Valentine's Day look is pretty easy. Yes, you guessed it right, my Valentine's Day look is always carefully planned. Even after being married to my husband for 5 years, I always want to look my best on the most romantic day of the year.

This year, I chose Covergirl for my look. I have a couple of reasons why I went for Covergirl this year. #1, their new Full Lash Bloom Mascara is new and is just screaming of Valentine's packaging which I love, and #2 their eyeshadow quad Go for the Golds is perfect for my outfit this year.

I am just in love with shower gels. Whenever I receive them, I have to make an extra effort not to rip open the packaging and just bathe in them. I have about 15 different shower gels/creams/body wash opened in our shower and I just love alternating them depending on my mood. Aside from them not making a mess in your shower because nothing ever melts, it's really nice to use specially with a mesh sponge or a soft loofa.

Nivea sent me four of their latest shower gels, and I am just loving them. I am currently using the Waterlily & Oil and I must say, the moisturizing effect it has lasts the whole day. It doesn't over dry the skin regardless of what some people say about SLS.
It's almost Valentine's Day! And most of my posts this week will be all about how to prep yourself for V-Day! I love getting all dolled up for Valentine's, and having soft, hair-free, and expensive smelling skin are just a few prepping I do for Valentine's Day!
