I used to have a love-hate relationship with my razor… only because I shave like a man! My hair grows really fast, and really dark and thick too. And it’s not just me –I learned that Filipinas are afraid to lift their arms and expose their armpits. I mean, I feel that too!

Our underarm skin gets damaged each time we shave. It usually takes a week for the skin to heal from the trauma, but because we have to shave every day (well, for me at least), our skin doesn't have enough time to heal itself. Hence, the rough, dark underarms.

It's so comforting to know that a brand that cares so much about your skin and your needs has your back for such special occasions like Valentine's Day.


I remember mentioning in social media that I was running low on my DOVE deodorant (which is really the brand that I find myself keep coming back to), and a few days later after going deodorant-free for about 4 days (as a result of my business with moving), I was sent a gift basket by DOVE with personal care products in time for Valentine's Day.

Ugh. It's that time of the year where women all over get extra busy preparing for the holidays! Yes, I said US women because it seems it's the ladies who do all the organizing of get-togethers, and doing all the Christmas shopping for the men. So with the crazy busy schedule we have, our underarms should be the last thing we all should worry about.

With the pushing and shoving at the department stores now for gift shopping, we should be able to reach up high without having to worry about dark underarms. Last February 11, I was invited to be one of Dove Deo's ambassadors and I was just thrilled to have been chosen to be a part of this beautiful campaign for summer.

Talking about the DOVE deodorant was easy for me because I have been a loyal user of this product for the past 2 years. It has improved the appearance of the skin on my armpits drastically and I haven't made a switch ever since! You can see the changes from my past blog post HERE.

Since I got pregnant, I have not been able to visit Hairshaft for my color retouching, and treatment maintenance. So my hair had become really sticky at the ends and very dry! Ugh. I haven't gone out for a haircut either so I had to treat my hair at home with these hair and scalp saving products!

One of my best friends, Carla is getting married! Only one month before the big day so I had to plan the bachelorette party in two weeks. Instead of the typical mani-pedi spa kind of bachelorette party, I wanted to give the bride, the bridesmaids, and the other important women in the bride's life products that they can take home to include in their beauty regimen to make them look even more beautiful for the big day -sort of like a "Glorifying Beauty Kit" for them to enjoy!

So I contacted brands who sponsor and support me and asked for their help. Brands that I believe that would give my ladies beautiful skin on the day of the wedding, and long after that.

A week before the big day, I sent the bride two pre-bachelorette party gifts. One to be used the day before the party, and the other for the day itself.
