If you have been following my blog, then you would know how stubborn my eye lashes can be. They curl easily, specially with a Shu Uemura eyelash curler, but as soon as I put mascara that isn't Maybelline, they get weighed down and the curl doesn't hold. Duh!

So one of the deciding factors for me on what makes a good mascara is if it holds curl well. I did a little Canmake haul three months ago (you can find that post HERE by the way) and in that haul was this new mascara. The beauty girl at Canmake Somera told me that it's curling and volumizing which intrigued me. Plus, the fact that it was formulated and made in Japan, one would think that it's made specially for Asian lashes.

I'm back with another post on Canmake! I just love their kawaii makeup. And not only are they cute, they're very good makeup too! Here's one of my current faves from the brand: The Glow Fleur Cheeks O5.

The blush has a mixture of warm and cool tones, making it very versatile for whatever skin tone and color you might have.

Being a professional makeup artist, I love long-handled brushes because I have more control when putting on makeup on other people. It also maintains the right amount of distance from your client's face to your hand so the side of your palm won't be touching your client's skin.

When looking for makeup brushes for my own personal use on the other hand, I prefer short-handled brushes because I have easier control. That's why I love travel brushes. There is no rule whether to use long or short handled brushes on yourself, I just personally prefer it that way.

To be honest, I have never hear of Canmake before until it was launched last April 2013. I quickly fell in love with the makeup because #1, Kawaii Packaging, and #2 I love anything Japanese made. What their eyeshadows lack in pigment (compared to brands for professional use), they make up in other stuff like their flawless finish powders and their barely there concealers.
