This is a festive collection consisting of six bright, bold and shimmery shades of liquid eyeliners. The previous Hyper Glossy Eyeliners line had colors too, but instead of reflective metallic ones, they were bold, colored and hyper pigmented but not one has the same ultra shiny level of these new Electric liners! These are like liquid foils that you can swipe on your skin (if that makes sense? LOL).
The packaging is a typical one that usually comes with liquid liners. A small tube with a long handle and a pointed brush. The pointed liner brush has a flexible tip so it's quite easy to control. Although for beginners, you will need to get a hold of the other side of your eye, stretching it a little bit so that you can softly glide the brush along your lash lines more easily.
From these three shades that my Maybelline family has sent me, the Lazer Green attracted me most! I love how vibrant it is and it is not the typical liner color that you would see, well... compared to blue and silver at least. The silver liner reminds me of BYS Metallic Liquid Eyeliners and some Neon Colored Eyeliners (similar packaging too!). Although BYS metallic liners (the silver one) doesn't glide as smoothly as Maybelline's though.

With just a light touch of the liner tip on your skin, it glides on so easily that you do not need that much pressure to create a single, clean line.
Using Maybelline 24H Color Tattoo in Audacious Asphalt mixed with Bad to the Bronze, I applied it all over my lid and blended the edges with a clean blending brush to create a soft smokey look, then I lined my eyes with K-Palette 1-Day Magic Eyeliner to create a winged-eye liner makeup look, and topped it with a touch of Maybelline Hyper Glossy Electric Liquid Liner in Lazer Green.
I love the peek-a-boo effect of the metallic eyeliner that is in contrast with the ultra dark lashes. I tight lined my upper lashes with Eye of Horus Goddess Smokey Eye Pencil in Black and also my lower lash lines and smudged it with a Q-tip!
Sure, Maybelline has quite a few selection of colored eyeliners, and some pearlized ones from the Maybelline Color Show Crayon Khol line (I love using the brown one for daytime tight lining!), but these have much more vibrant effects.
