More after the break...

In my opinion, for those young ladies or ladies with mature skin with normal, dry to combination skin without anything to hide under thick foundation and who only want a very natural and glowing finish, with great skincare and SPF, this is such a great product.
Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup in Sand, PhP 2,800
This foundation evens out the complexion and adds some radiance that seem to last for a long time and not just an instant and temporary thing. It really leaves the skin looking very radiant. It is very easy to apply as it glides on smoothly and silkily on the skin. And yet, it is buildable without becoming cake-y or chalky. It is extremely moisturizing, instantly smoothing fine lines and quite long lasting without me oiling too much in my T-Zone. The coverage can range from sheer to medium to full, depending on how much you layer on top of it which makes it very convenient to own.
I have the impression that this foundation has been realised on the new wave of foundations from other brands that infuse intense repairing serums with their makeup trend like LANCÔME'S ESSENCE FOUNDATION that was also formulated to boost the appearance of damaged skin, and offers correction in terms of fading fine lines and lifting effects. May not be completely the same, but more or less of the same innovation.

I am happy that makeup are being infused with skin care now. Remember back in the day when makeup ruins the skin?
It has a light texture, but is slightly creamier than Lancome Essence Foundation. I was a little worried that it won't give my skin as much coverage as I would want to cover some of my dark spots and acne scars, but it actually worked fantastic on my skin.

Good coverage, non-drying and doesn't look cake-y on my laugh lines or under my eyes. Although it didn't fill in the deep lines that I had under my eyes, it didn't make it look caked up.
It also doesn't highlight fine lines like some foundations, but it didn't fill them in either. It's neither worse nor did it improve the appearance though. Again, because it's not so drying, it didn't emphasize the lines that I had, it just stayed the same. In spite of this foundation being oil-free, it gave my skin a youthful, dewy look!

On the nose area though, I didn't know what was going on. My white heads didn't seem to agree with this foundation and it stubbornly sat on top of them. Since I only applied one layer of foundation, it only covered my acne scars just a little and not completely. But you can spot layer it on the area you need it most.
After setting the foundation with Happy Skin's Don't Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation, the lines are no longer that obvious and the tiny bumps of my nose are not visible anymore which was a huge relief. My skin looks even and radiant, like a glow-from-within kind of deal.
Lasting power is very good with this foundation, in spite of my combination skin becoming annoyingly oily in the T-zone sometime during the day pretty much eats through everything. But with some oil blotting paper and a light powder touch-up, I come home after 6 to 8 hours with my base still looking very put together and intact.
NEW PURE COLOR ENVY SCULPTING EYESHADOW 5-COLOR PALETTE
First we had the absolutely gorgeous Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks which are completely unreal. Now the next phase in the Pure Color Envy collection is a complete color palette that include 5-color eyeshadow shades that completely go together in each palette.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Eyeshadow Palette in Captivating Cocoa, PhP 2,550
First the packaging is just amazing and sturdy -total luxe. Designed in the same way as the Pure Color Envy Lipsticks with deep blue and gold trimmings with that special magnetic close that snap close easily, it is seriously luxurious and elegant. I just instantly love it! Plus the palette that I received was something I would have chosen for myself too: Captivating Cocoa (Available in Asia only). There are 12 different palettes in the range so there’s a wide range of choices.

Each palette contains 5 shades which include a range of finishes from matte to sheen to pearlized to shimmer. The left shade is the Reflect shade, then there’s 2 matte shades and 2 satin shades.
The texture of the eyeshadows are just beautiful – silky and buttery and glides on the lids smoothly. I have tried Estee Lauder eyeshadows before on the counter but it feels like this new palette is whole new step forward for the brand in terms of the quality of texture and pigment. Each formulated eyeshadow shades contain Estee Lauder’s Advanced True Vision Technology which features “pigments and pearls with multi-faceted colour spheres to add the ultimate dimension”.
The shadows can be used dry for a wash of vibrant velvet coverage or applied wet for greater intensity, high-pigment and impact. The palette is designed to allow shadows that have been wet to dry quickly without damaging the eyeshadows.
On my eyes I used shade #5 from my lash lines up to the crease, then blended my creases with shade #3. I then highlighted my brow bones with shade #2. My lower lash lines were blended with shadow shade #3 as well. I used Eye of Horus Goddess Smokey Eye Pencil in Black to line my upper lash lines and smudge a little bit on the lower lashines, and used Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Waterproof Mascara to blend my lashes and my falsies together.

    1. They are a little pricey. Although I can say that it really is worth every penny! With their foundations now infused with their top of the line serums, these liquid makeup are more of a skin care rather than makeup. They do more repairing than damaging! ♥ The eye palette too is a great buy. This particular color palette is very wearable and so very basic! Thank you so much for dropping by!
