#eyespymondays

Hey everyone! I've missed everyone! Last week was hell week for me, but I am back and for my first post for June, I would like to show you a liquid liner that has kept me from reaching other liners in my dresser.

Liquid eyeliners are makeup products every woman should learn how to use. It defines ones look, and it can make your eyes look more even with the right strokes! The looks are endless with eyeliners. Finding the right one for you can be tricky too because not all liquid liners have the same applicator.

As a makeup artist, liquid liner are a staple in my makeup kit. I use it to emphasize the eyes specially for women with droopy eyes because with the right application, you can lift the eyes instead of weighing them more downward.

Liquid liners also give the illusion of thicker lashes when applied as close to the lash lines as possible.

The Balm's Schwing liner gives a semi-gloss finish, and dries very quickly too. It stays put the whole day, and very much waterproof. Oh! Did I mention that it's paraben-free?

It comes in a typical liquid liner tube, which reminds me of Lancome's Artliner Precision Point liner, but with a more fun look. Lancome and TheBalm liquid liner has the same felt tip point which I love using more than ones with synthetic thin brushes that some liners come with.

It's very handy and easy to control because of the slim body.

It has a felt tip material that holds product well and you won't have to worry about drips and smudge mistakes. It's pointed so creating thin lines are easy!

Here is a swatch of a thin and a thick line made with The Schwing eye liner. It has a firm tip so you don't have to worry about wobbly and inconsistent lines.

I don't wear liquid liners a lot because frankly I prefer colored eye liners. But I do use liquid liners when I put on falsies like what I am wearing in the photo below. The pointed tip makes it easy to get in between the lashes so you can conceal the spaces really well.

Although this eyeliner worked well on me, some people might say that it smudges after wearing it for several hours. But for me, there was no smudging or flaking even long after I got home.

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS:
Length of usage before review: 4 months.

PROS
  • Does not sting. Some eyeliners sting the eyes.
  • Smooth formula.
  • Glides on smoothly. Does not make broken lines.
  • Dries and sets very black.
  • Does not peel after a while.
  • Smudge-proof.
  • Flexible tip makes it easy to create thick or thin lines.
  • Felt tip liner pen style makes it easy to control.
  • Thin bodice is easy to handle.
  • Does not have a strong smell.
  • Paraben-free
  • Easily available in Beauty Bar.
  • Affordable price.

NEUTRAL
  • N/A

CONS
  • The tip eventually loses its shape so the lines are not as sharp anymore.
