The primers that I have tried in the past (ok, I won't name brands), but I have quite bad experiences with primers so I thought all primers were the same. But through the years, I have worked on countless faces, I tried to make primers work on my clients instead on myself. I found that applying a layer as thin as possible will make makeup last longer, instead of making it slip off like it did on me the first time I tried it.

I just love Collection's sleek packaging. Compared to the old Collection 2000 packaging, this one is more fun and younger which is more eye-catching. Well, at leafs in my opinion.

Collection's makeup primer only comes in one size which is an 18ml tube. This small, compact, travel tube takes up little space in your makeup kit, and it's all you need to make your makeup last all day and all night.

This makeup primer is nothing I have ever tried before. Most makeup primers I have tried in the past were thicker and makeup would just slide off on top of it, but this one actually worked well on my skin. (Hooray!)


Just a pea-sized amount will be enough to cover your entire face. Remember, less is always more. The thicker you put it, the more likely it would cause your makeup to have a pooling effect, or worse, just slide of when you blot your face with tissue or blotting paper.


It glides on smoothly and has a gel-like consistency. It sets matte on the face and it's also transparent. The primer fills in fine lines and pores very well giving your skin a a perfect canvas for foundation.


This is my face with Collection's Makeup Primer. You can't see the pores on my face and also you may notice my skin is like velvet-y and matte. It doesn't make the skin feel dry or dehydrated.


I put on full makeup today and here is how I looked after 4 hours. You can see in my photo that my makeup still looks fresh and oil-free! The makeup primer actually helped my makeup build-up oil in this extreme humidity! My makeup looks like I have just retouched it!

I am proud and confident to say that this drug-store primer works just as well as high-end ones! It's amazing.


Because of my wonderful experience with Collection's makeup primer, I think I'm going to give primers another chance. I will include this primer in my daily makeup routine!
