I am a fragrance nut. Having to attend different fragrance events developed my love for fragrances. I have always loved buying perfumes as far back as High School already sporting strong fragrances like Issey Miyaki EDP, or Tommy Girl EDP. Those aren't scents you usually smell on High School girls, but I loved the thought of leaving a trail of a scent behind. Sticking to mostly sweet and fruity fragrances for a while, it was the notes that I would always look for when in department stores.
I never thought I would develop a taste for woody and balsamic notes, but surprisingly this fragrance from Jean Patou tickled my senses that has SEXY written all over it.

At the Jean Patou Joy Forever event held at Art of Scent boutique in Edsa Shangri-La, I was able to test the latest and updated fragrance of Jean Patou's famous and classic fragrance JOY. The name of the new fragrance is Joy Forever. It is a softer and younger version of JOY and is an Eau de Toilette.
Joy Forever opens up with Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, and Galbanum, with heart notes consisting of Jasmin, Rose, Orris, Marigold, Orange Flower and Peach. Its base notes trails a lovely combination of Cedarwood, Sandalwood, White Musks, and Amber. I don't know why I am so much into woody fragrances lately.
I was blessed with Jean Patou's SUBLIME Eau de Parfum. Art of Scent gave me this fragrance and I instantly fell in love with it!
This sexy and sensual fragrance is woody and spicy, which is something I never thought I would like. Believe it or not? I spritz it on before going to bed sometime, and hubby loves the smell! *Giggle*

This bottle reminds me of Chanel No. 5's bottle. Simple and yet very classy with the no non-sense fonts and other fine print on the label.
My taste in fragrances vary from one fragrance to the next depending on my mood. I am very versatile and for some reason, I have developed different liking to different fragrances. I used to just love fruity fragrances!
