I had to research on what this particular product line does for the skin because although I have heard of the brand before, I have never attended any workshops or events with Lineage so I wasn't familiar with any of their products and what they do for the skin. Here is what I found online:

The Water Bank Moisture Ampoules come in a box like this. It has a book-type box that has a protective sleeve.


You slide it to reveal the box inside. I really love the classy, luxurious looking packaging. Judging based on looks, it looks like it really works!


A standard pack comes with ten 5ml ampoules. The box comes with a pamphlet written in english for instructions and information on how to use them.


The first time I received this I thought that 1 ampoule is for single use only. But actually, 1 ampoule is good for about 10 uses (5 days for morning and evening application). It is that potent.


The bottles are small so you can just bring 1 ampoule with you if you are going away on a short trip. It actually is all you need for any moisturizing problems. This milky moisture-volume ampoule weaves a tight skin barrier and fills the skin with ultimate moisturization.

Going tanning this summer? Sun can dehydrate the skin so use this product after being out in the sun too long to restore moisture and help your skin repair.


Open the ampoule by screwing the cap off. The container is made of hard-to-break glass, and has a tiny opening on top. Don't worry about accidentally spilling the contents. You will have to shake/tap the bottle on your fingers to release some product.


The texture is very watery and milky. The reason for the milky texture is because this stabilizes the ingredients that establish oil-moisture balance in the skin and maximizes absorption into each layer of the skin. The delivery system to penetrate the skin is faster with this consistency.


Pour a few drops on your fingers and quickly spread all over your freshly cleansed and toned skin. Keep pressing your fingers and your palms on your face. By using both hands to wrap around your face will make the milk penetrate effectively.


My skin looks radiant and quenched after using the milk. My skin was very dewy and the hydration can be felt way deep into the skin, it isn't superficial. I could really feel my skin's dehydration being quenched after just one use. My face feels firm and lifted.

This product is definitely something I would recommend to my brides. Start treatment as early as possible before the big day for radiant glowing skin! And should be continued long after the wedding.

• Laneige boutiques are limited for now.

CONS

• A little heavy for day-time use.
• Will feel too heavy on skin if you apply it with sunblock and then makeup.
• Product is very hard to control because of the runny, watery consistency.

How I use it: Because of the heavy texture and slightly sticky feel, I use it at night replacing my usual night cream. The evening is when your skin rejuvenates and repairs itself anyway. During the day, wear lots of sun protection instead!
