Going Gaga Over Avon's NEW Ultra Color Absolute Lipsticks

I have always been a fan of Avon. Specially their lipsticks because they always live up to the full color promise. Highly pigmented, creamy, and extremely moisturizing, Avon has earned it's reputation as one of the best brands for lipstick. No need to look for matte shades because there are a lot of mattifying products for lips out in the market today.
Last Valentine's Day, we had an intimate dinner with my blogger friends together with the Avon team to enjoy scrumptious food and sampling products. Among the products that were to be launched for Spring is Avon's Ultra Color Absolute.

Housed in a new chic and uber girly and sexy pink packaging, I love how feminine it is but playful at the same time. I am kinda getting tired of plain black packaging. Very sexy.
I wore all 10 shades on my lips so that I can show you the different effects on each one. I love these creamy lippies because they suit most skin tones and color. And I am not saying these things because I am an Avon lady, but I really do believe in their products when I was just starting out to be a makeup artist.
Some of the shades of the lippies appear darker in the tube but only in photos, it's because of my lighting. But the shades that are on the swatches and on my lips is how it actually looks when you apply it. Know that we all have different acidities so shades may be darker or lighter on you. So if you are deciding which ones to get, know how acidic you are.

How I Used It: Make sure you exfoliate your lips so that the color will look flawless. Apply petroleum jelly on your lips before applying makeup so that it has enough time to absorb and moisturize the lips. I applied the lipstick directly from the tube starting with my cupid's bow going out towards the sides and then my bottom lip. I blotted and reapplied 3 times to make the lipstick last!
Will I re-purchase? Yes.
Will I recommend it? Yes.

Swatching lipsticks on your hand is different from trying them on your lips but I provided swatches nonetheless. You can clearly see how pigmented and creamy they are and I just love how bold and vibrant the colors appear not only on my hand but on my lips too. Shades that can be worn no matter what season!
I love how they glide on the lips like balm, and feels like it too! It has a very nice shine to the finish of the lippies giving a beautiful pouty effect on the lips when the light hits it.

I can't choose a favorite. But if I were to choose which ones I like best, I would have to say Smooth Plum, Lovely Cherry, Pure Orchid, and Gorgeous Guava.

- Gives the lips a beautiful healthy plump look.
NEUTRAL
- Some people might find the scent too fragrant and fruity.
- Available only with direct sellers.
- No matte shades available. Some women love matte lippies.
CONS
