Whoa! I haven't posted in 2 days and it felt like forever! I have been dying to blog but I have been so busy with shoots the past few days that I haven't had the time to post. On the other hand, I was able to test these scalp-loving products so I can make a proper review!
For someone who has extremely damaged hair and who can practically put any dyeing chemicals on her head, my scalp is very sensitive to shampoos and conditioners. Nothing serious, my scalp just get extremely itchy and flaky. And when I say flaky, I don't mean New York Snow Flurries, I mean, Thanksgiving parade confetti flaky. Eew.
One of the best shampoos that have worked out for my scalp in the past is Clear Shampoo. Although my scalp loved the product, my face disagreed. I got rashes on my hair line so I had to go back to my old shampoo, flakes and all. I also used Selsun Blue but it stinks. Truly.
I was sent Lauat's herbal hair set just last week. Again, the skeptic person that I am, I was reluctant to try it because I didn't want to itch. But surprisingly? It's been 3 days into the products and I haven't itched or flaked at all -my face seems to agree as well!
My most favorite among the three is the anti-dandruff cream. It feels so soothing to the scalp, and my hair was rid of it's frizz too! It softened my damaged hair, miraculously.
Scoop a liberal amount and start applying directly on your scalp in sections so that you won't have too much of the product on your head, skip applying on the ends of your hair, concentrate on your scalp. Apply just enough to cover your scalp. Massage for 5-8 minutes and cover your hair with a shower cap for 30 minutes and rinse off.
Wash your hair with the Lauat Herbal Hair Fall Defense Shampoo. I don't know if my hair fall during the day has lessened, but I can vouch that whenever I comb my hair, less hair gets stuck to my comb! And when I brush my hair when my hair is dry, hair doesn't get tangled on the brush so I guess it's working!
This leave on conditioner is also a miracle worker. It works wonders! On days I go swimming, I apply this leave on conditioner on my hair immediately after getting out of the pool, and just washing it off with shampoo. My hair doesn't feel sticky or dry because of the chlorine.
I love that this line of hair products cares for the scalp and not just the hair. Of course, this review is based on my personal usage of the product. But I would definitely recommend this product for women with extremely damaged hair, and those who are prone to dandruff and itchy scalp!

This shampoo saved my hair literally. I was suffering from severe hair loss and I was really about to give up when I saw this one. It lessened my hair loss, but the thing about is that, when you stop using it, and switch to a different product, you'll suffer from the same dilemma again (only lesser if that makes sense). It's like you use it or you lose it with this shampoo. -_-
