MUJI Moist Skin Care

by - Monday, May 20, 2013

MUJI is a brand known for their storage and other home stuff so finding makeup and skin care in their store is a little weird. But for some reason, I am always sold for anything that is made in Japan. This is my second set of skin care from the brand, and this is the first time I am writing about it.

MUJI Moisturising Milk High Moisture 200ml, PhP 475.00 / MUJI Light Toning Water Moist 200ml, PhP 355.00

The only moisturiser I am using on my clients the past year, I have had some positive responses from my clients, and I myself can vouch for it too!

I love that this toner does not sting when you apply it on your face. It truly does feel like water on skin and it has a very mild fragrance. It tingles a little bit on your skin when you first apply it, but the most important thing is that it doesn't sting at all. After it is absorbed in your skin, the tingly feeling goes away but it feels like your skin is already moisturized. Your skin doesn't feel tight or dry!

This moisturizer is high moisture indeed! It leaves skin very supple but not sticky. The formulation is not very potent or too thick, it's easily spreadable on skin and it gets absorbed fast too!

It has a ver nice consistency that makes it very easy to control. I don't like watery products because they drip a lot making it really hard to apply on the face,

When I apply the moisturizer at night before going to bed, I apply a thick layer so that my skin will absorb more product. On the other hand, if you want to use it under your makeup, I suggest applying only a thin layer of moisturizer so that it won't be too heavy for your facial skin. It has a mild fragrance too that does not smell all that bad.

The verdict? LOVE IT! I have repurchased this already and I'm sure I'll be buying again when I run out again!

  1. 475 for 200ml is not bad. Love their packaging too -- very simple and minimalist. If I'm gonna try one from them, it's gonna be their acne line probably.
