An online seller I frequent for makeup tools like sponges, brushes, brush cleaners, etc., gifted me with The Original MakeUp Eraser. I have heard about this from a lot of makeup gurus online and they swear by it.

A lot of people also have been looking for alternative makeup cleansers that are more earth friendly, hence this washable MakeUp Eraser. It claims to remove makeup with just water!

It's been a while since I posted anything about beauty, and most of you are here to read about beauty stuff so, here you go.

Let me tell you all about Clinique's version of makeup remover wipes. That is, if you haven't heard about it yet. Don't get hung up on the fancy name, it's basically makeup removing wipes that uses micellar water. It's gentle on the face, the eyes, the lips and yet so effective! So it's definitely worth giving it a second look.

When I received this from Clinique, I was quite intimidated and did not want to use it because I thought it had some special way to use. But once you get passed the fact that it's from Clinique, you will find how it is so useful, especially on those lazy nights when you're just too tired to wash your face.

Everywhere we look now a days, beauty brands seem to be coming out with their own version of cleansing cloths. And now, Pixi by Petra launches their own version which I rather enjoyed using.

Pixi Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths are infused with aloe vera and camellia oil to hydrate, soothe and nourish the skin while cleansing impurities. It's so funny to get excited about makeup removing wipes  each time brands send me theirs, but I was really hyped that Pixi was introducing an affordable cleansing wipe pack that's only PhP 499 for 40 sheets!

It's almost the same price as Bioré's Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets which is PhP 425 for 44 sheets. I just wonder if Pixi's cleansing cloths remove makeup as easily as Biore´. It's no secret that I am a huge fan of Bioré Cleansing Oil Facial Sheets, and it kind of has been my basis for all cleansing wipes that come out in the market today.

Taking the day off your face should be as much fun as it is putting it on. I love makeup but I love having to take it off just as much at the end of the day. On days I am just at home or just running some errands, I go makeup-free allowing my skin to breathe. Honestly, I only wear makeup on events because I love having my skin breathe, not only is it liberating to be sans makeup once in a while, but it's healthy on your skin too! So when you see me at the mall, I am almost always makeup free.

So, taking off makeup should be convenient because some women just want to sleep when they get home. Sometimes, when I get home from an event and I am dead tired and I still have mommy duties, I have little time to remove my makeup so I prefer using cleansing wipes to remove my makeup. Something I can do while watching the baby in his playpen. It seems as soon as I became a mom, I have to learn how to do everything fast, or even multi-task. I even learned how to do a 2-step evening skin care regimen!

Last night, I mentioned how much I am into cleansing wipes. Aside from them being so easy to use on lazy days, they are quite portable too specially when you travel, or would change makeup looks from one to another if you are a makeup artist. I have tried several makeup remover wipes, like: Nivea Cleansing Wipes, SkinLite's Make-up Cleansing Tissues, H2O+'s Cleansing Face Wipes, and Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes, and quite frankly, none of them compares to Bioré's improved formula that was just launched here in Manila this year.

For the first time today, cleaning off make-up could be effortless with these wipes, with no water required -or even soap for that matter! Just wipe gently with the facial sheets and you’d have fresh, clean skin. All you really need? Is the patience. It made getting rid of gunky waterproof eye makeup (specially waterproof mascara) so much easier. All it took was one sheet to remove all the makeup completely.

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! Well, it's been a crazy holiday break and so I have been hiatus also for the past few days! Not only was I crazy busy, I got sick too! Booo!

But anyway, I'm back, and for my first post of the year, I am posting about Nivea's Cleansing Wipes! Definitely a new good habit to form for the new year: NEVER SLEEP WITH MAKEUP!

I don't know how much of a secret this is, but it is a fact: women has a dark secret-- they've slept with their makeup on -or have been sleeping with their makeup on. Yes, it is something to be ashamed about because some women would think "how much damage could it do for just a night or two?" and the next thing you know, you have formed a habit out of not removing your makeup before going to bed.

I used to think that Baby Wipes will do the same job as any facial cleansing wipes out there but I have learned that it is not. First of all, baby wipes were made to cater to wiping dirt off babies' skin and not for removing makeup which can get skin deep. These makeup residues, dirt, and oil goes skin deep that no amount of baby wipes can cleanse.

So forget that myth. It's like using shampoo as a facial wash, or hand soap to clean your dishes. They will not do the same good job they were meant to do.

Let's be honest, we've all been there. While putting on makeup is fun, removing it is a drag. So you need the fastest makeup removing tool/product there is in the market to help you cleanse your face free of makeup the fastest! There are no-rinse cleansing oils and foaming cleansing oils that work like magic, and then there's this: H2O+'s Cleansing Face Wipes.

As much as I love putting on makeup in the morning, the best part for me is still removing it at the end of the day as soon as I get home.

As hard as it may be to drag yourself to the bathroom to remove your makeup after a long hard day at the office, cleansing is a crucial part of wearing makeup. Yes, as important as wearing clean underwear! HA!

Makeup may protect your skin from dirt outside, but leaving it on overnight can cause more damage than good! Imagine leaving all that oil, dirt, and makeup on your skin while your skin tries to rejuvenate while you sleep?

I love cleansing with Pond’s classic cold creams. It really removes all traces of dirt and makeup and it doesn’t leave your skin dry and flakey as soap.

Depending on how much makeup you’re wearing, the amount of cold cream you need to cleanse varies. As for me, I wear BB creams and a little liquid foundation so it’s harder to remove. I massage a handful of cold cream on my face and gently massage it to my entire face and neck in circular motions.

Wipe off with a tissue and use a gentle face wash like that of Clearasil to remove the remaining cold cream and minor traces makeup. You can actually just wipe it off but I love washing it off with warm water.

The cold creams that are made in the USA are sold in Somera (Glorietta 5) at P595, but it’s cheaper in S&R by maybe P100+.
