Hey everyone! How is everyone liking my new look? I am so proud of my new template that I bought from ThemeXpose, being the non-techie that I am -I mean I sort of am, but not being able to design a blog completely on my own, paying for a theme is worth it. For only $30, I was able to install this theme hassle-free. It came with step by step tutorials on how to install all the widgets! You can pay via PayPal which makes it so convenient as well. Pretty idiot-proof actually!

Ok, so now I am able to get that off my chest, I would like to tell you about this MAC blush that I received a few months ago. To tell you honestly, it took me this long to post a review on this shade because it took me a while to get used to this color...my MAC blush of choice would be Mocha because that shade really brought out the best of my complexion.

I, however, have noticed that when I wear this shade I get lots if compliments. They say that I have "color" what ever that means. Maybe I don't look too pale. The Melba is a very pretty coral peachy color. To tell you honestly, I look better in pinks.

Ok, seriously, I thought this brush was just for babies that's why I have been using it on Henri. But having read all about it, it's actually a "baby" version of their real Tangle Angel brush. So I guess it being soft enough for Henri, and yet sturdy enough for my ridiculously dry and tangled hair, then it's a nice enough brush for me to blog about and share with you!

When I was 14, one of the first lipsticks I ever bought was Revlon. Remember "Toast of New York"? It was my favorite Revlon shade and I even had the blush to match. I would save up my allowance just so I can keep up with my "luho".

Revlon sent me their new Ultra HD Lipsticks a couple of months back but when I was pregnant, so now I can really tell you what I think of these lippies since I have been using them a lot for the past months because I just love them. Really, I love them.

This post is long overdue. Raul and I ate here last February and I have been wanting to post this but I kept putting it off because something else comes up -umm, like me giving birth. I know you guys may have already read so much unboxing for BDJ's August box, but I am posting this anyway! BDJ being my favorite subscription box, it wouldn't be right not to post something so nice! Hehehe...

Last month's subscription was exclusive to Revlon and I just fell in love with what's inside. Revlon being one of the first makeup brands I have ever used, saving up my allowance to be able to buy their Toast of New York blush and matching lippie.

I have been switching from one baby soap to the next from commercial branded ones, to castile soaps, and now jumping on the organic artisanal soaps bandwagon. I wasn't really big on organic before but having your own all-natural bath and skin care brand made me more aware in using products that do not contain harmful chemicals. I owe it to Google too for providing me all the information I need on what harmful ingredients to avoid.

Having finished Grandma El's Tear-Free Gentle Baby Wash, I discovered this little home-based brand of artisanal soaps, Island Girl. This seller sells only in Instagram (@islandgirlsoapery) but I immediately fell in love with this soap. Ok, it got me at Super Baby Milk Bath, but really, I used to just use DOVE for sensitive skin on Henri since birth and it has been so good on his skin.

I am not really an IG shopper, which is kind of weird because I have an IG account for Nekkid. But I really found out recently that Instagram stores are quite convenient! Specially hashtags, boy, those things are helpful specially if you are on shopping mode and are looking for something in particular. That's how I ended up in Island Girl Soapery's Instagram account, and eventually on Facebook.
If you are anything like me -who cares so much about packaging, then maybe you would be a little bit skeptic about buying from this seller at first. But having read great reviews in her account, then I was pushed to buy and try it. Plus, she makes these soaps herself which makes it even more impressive.

Guess what finally made it to our shores? Jo Malone! It's finally happening Jo Malone fans and their first store is finally opening its doors to the public on October 10, 2015.

Last June, I attended the sort-of launch of the brand but their stores are still opening in October. I was so honored to have been invited to the launch since only a handful and select group of bloggers and media were invited to attend the preview.

One of the best things about being a blogger, is getting to try everything from the brand privately without you having to hog the counters at the store. LOL (who here can relate?) I love taking my time when trying on products so I really don't like it when sales people hound me. Ok, that just sounded a bit bratty.

Having suffered from a bad hair day since the day I found out I was pregnant, I no longer couldn't color my hair so I had to endure a not-really ombre hair for the entire duration of my pregnancy until long after Henri was born.

There were "organic" and "natural" hair dyes out there but I didn't want to risk it. Besides, there's only one place in the universe I would have my hair done from now on anyway. For those of you who haven't read yet, Hairshaft s my go-to salon. Only Fred or any member of his team can touch my hair.

No, I am not being hormonal or being stubborn, it's just that I have great experience with them from day 1. Have you seen and read my first hair-formation yet? Ok so anyway, here's a back shot of my hair. If not for my very dry tips I would have to say that my color doesn't even look THAT bad. It would seem as though I did have my hair ombréd on purpose. That's one of the best things I love Hairshaft. Your hair will still look presentable even with 9 inches of regrowth happening in your hair.

WOW! It's been 2 months since my last post and in the blogging world, it might as well been 2 years. I have been so busy these past couple of months with the baby, having growth spurts come in and out, plus running a start up business. For those of you who do not know my business, NEKKID is my very own brand. I will save that post for another day though.

Having missed blogging, and most of you know, blogging keeps me sane -here's a powder I have been wanting to brag about for the past couple of months. I have been using this compact for 2 months and sad to say it's almost out. I will have to move on after this though because I have so much pressed powders lined up to try and show you guys.
