I love how girls now of all ages are so into contouring and highlighting! I remember how women were so scared of the word contouring because of how old they might look. Now, definition is a crucial part of any makeup look whether it be for day or night makeup!

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Sleek over the years, especially their blushes and lip products, but it was really hard to get my hands on before when I was still actively doing makeup. But now that Sleek is finally here, I can get my hands on their products every time I catch wind of what product is really good to try right now! So when Sleek sent me their cheek palettes, I had to open everything and try all of it in one go! I have tried Sleek's Matte Me lipstick before and I just love how their products deliver what they promise, so I knew that these babies will work just as well too!

In the lipstick world, MAC pretty much has it covered specially when it comes to matte lipsticks. Their matte lipsticks are rather amazing and provide a fantastically matte finish that a lot of other companies simply can’t reproduce -they have been the pioneers in matte lipsticks.

I have always been a fan of facial exfoliation because I love how the skin glows after. I exfoliate my face once a week, or at the most, twice.

When Clinique sent me their Sonic System I was over the moon excited! I have been obsessing over it for the past months actually and now I get to experience it myself first hand. I'm going to combine two reviews today which includes the Sonic System, and their latest foundation innovation: Beyond Perfecting Foundation+Concealer.
When I think about it, it's a bit weird how I am really digging the Clarisonic and the Clinique Sonic System. But here's the thing: I see the benefits in each of them. As far as I'm concerned, there isn't a best brush or the best sonic cleansing brush set – there is a brush/cleansing brush that is best fit for you and your skin.

Let's focus on the eyes now shall we? Since I missed this week's #eyespymondays post, I am going to post this today. I have always been a fan of Leader's masks and some more of their other skin care products because they work really well on my skin. My skin being the most dry now a days, the need to rehydrate by the use of the masking method is a must.

Leaders is a Korean brand so you know that you will definitely get what you pay for. Their skin care is easy to use and their promises always deliver. I have been on their best-selling Hydrogel Eye Therapy Patch for a week now, and I tell you, this is one of the best undereye correction products I have used in a long time.

I figured my eye area can do with more help since Henri has gotten himself a new schedule at night and has left me with dark, tired eyes in the morning. This product has captured my interest because the ingredient list is short (to be quite honest) and because the product is marked as paraben and pigment free which is always a god thing. I also like that it’s a hydrogel patch, which means it’s likely to be very soothing to the skin.

One of the best things about having a baby around is the baby smell. I love all the smell that comes with the baby: the soured milk smell in their breath, their skin, and even the amoy "araw" after playing under the sun for a while.

I am a perfume addict, but I do love wearing colognes every now and then when it's too hot to be wearing perfume. And the Belo's new Belo Baby Cologne, I find myself having to steal Henri's stash! Hahaha!

I am an avid label reader, and I stay away from products that contain harmful chemicals, even though it only contains a small amount of it.

Hey guys! It's been a while since my last post! The reason for this is I just found out last month that I am three months pregnant! It's great news, specially for me because it took me so long to get pregnant the first time, and this one came so easily and so fast!

The morning sickness is unbearable though, compared to my pregnancy with Henri where I had absolutely no morning sickness at all, this is something really new to me. So now I am almost on my fourth month, my morning sickness is finally easing up so I am able to sit and blog again! -at least for now though. LOL

So, during pregnancy, I suffer from a lot of skin problems, and also my scalp experiences some changes that drives me absolutely insane. First of all, you can't use any shampoo that contains harmful chemicals or steroids for gigantic dandruff. Or hair products that can control oiliness, you will have to stick to organic and natural ones to be on the safe side. I'm so happy that these products are now here in Manila to make our pregnant lives easier!

One of the most important things you should know about me as a beauty addict is that I am a perfume addict. Remember how little orphan Annie sings "You're never fully dressed without a smile"? Well, for me though, it's you're never fully dressed without perfume... Or nail polish.

In the middle of the day though, I love having to spritz some more on to refresh my perfume but some of my favorite perfume bottles come in irregular shaped bottles, or come with cute accessories like Shalimar's poofy feather thing, and I don't want it to get ruined inside my purse. Some are just really irregular shaped that you risk the atomizer getting damaged. I have resulted to buying plastic travel atomizers, but the plastic eventually alters the fragrance in time.
And that's when I discovered these perfume pods! TRAVALO Classic and the Perfume Pod. These babies can hold up to 5ml of perfume, but can spray to as much as 65 to as much as 85 times! I don't know about you, but I wear a different perfume every other day, so I end up not filling up my Perfume Pod, so I can easily switch to another fragrance.

If you are mom with a dalaga at home, I'm sure at one point she has asked you if she could have their hair colored. The most asked question on beauty and their daughters is whether to allow kids color their hair or not, or at what age can they start?

Weeks leading up to our Japan trip last week, it was a crazy month for me because we had to get out yaya's papers in order so that she will be able to join us in Japan. Otherwise, Henri will have to be left home if we cannot travel without her. I am dependent on her to be quite honest. I am not ashamed to admit it!

So anyway, it being crazy hot this summer here in Manila, I have been on the constant look out for the perfect foundation to use during the summer because I have found some of my foundations to melt off my face faster than I can say SUMMER. You will find me posting a lot of foundation posts because I have so many here at home and finding the right one for this crazy humidity and heat is like trying to find the right boyfriend. I know I said that about mascara before, but I find it harder to find foundation now than mascaras.

A few months ago, SUESH has sent me a basic set of their vegan makeup brushes. To be quiet honest, I wasn't really a fan of using vegan/synthetic brushes because I always thought that makeup doesn't quite stick to the hairs real good and it takes more effort to try and get makeup to stay on the brushes, extending your makeup time.

But after getting to know the brushes with Beauty and Minerals' Vegan brushes, and using these as well on a daily basis, I found a lot of benefits on why going vegan on your makeup brushes has its benefits too.
So before anything else, let's define what Vegan/Synthetic brushes are usually made of. They are made from either Taklon, Nylon or in some companies, they use a blend of materials to mimic animal hair. Taklon is used when a softer brush texture is needed, say for a blush or powder brush, whereas Nylon is used when a firmer texture is needed as in the case of a traditional foundation or concealer brush. When the fibers are blended together, you can get the best of both worlds for your intended purpose.
