Girl Stuff SOLIQUE's Summer Collection Out Now!
If you are an avid reader of my blog, then you would know how much of a GIRL STUFF Fan I am. You can still read my feature on GIRL STUFF here and SOLIQUE here. In fact, I got so obsessed with their polish that I hoarded their stuff online and had them shipped to my house.
Oh! You can shop for Girl Stuff and SOLIQUE here! So imagine my delight when FINALLY they opened a kiosk in Glorietta! I visit their Kiosk every time I go to the mall even though I practically own most of their collection now.
Last month I was invited to the launch of their summer collection, and their wonderful new TOP COAT that is perfect for summer clubbin' -THE UV GLOW top coat by SOLIQUE.
The nail technician who did my nails started off with a white base coat to make the neon shades really pop. Although this is the technique to do with OTHER brands to make their neon shades pop out, YOU DO NOT NEED to do this with Girl Stuff. Their shades can be used on it's own and you only need a couple of coats to make the color really vibrant and full.
But since Girl Stuff's nail polish is 5-free and use only the safest of ingredients (this is the only nail polish brand I used while I was pregnant), their NEON SHADES are very safe to use and approved!

Probably the coolest part of the collection that I enjoyed most was their UV-GLOW top coat by SOLIQUE. It's a revolutionary top coat that increases shine and extends wear of Solique Gel polish. UV-glow contains a fluorescent brightener which reacts to UV and black light! Polish may be used by itself, over any polish, or best, with Solique Gel Shades! You don't have to use only SOLIQUE Gel Nail Polish with it, you can use it with any Girl Stuff nail polish as well!
This top coat is formulated with what they call the “photo-initiator” and “fluorescent brightener” which is included in the top coat. It also reacts under the sun which allows your polish to change color as you wear it under natural UV light. No need to buy a back light or UV light for this one gals!
On regular light, it looks like regular vibrant color, but it's different at night and there is black light available. Groovy right? I love it, it's so fun.
