Someone actually recommended this product to me because I use eyeliner every day and waterproof mascara almost everyday. When I was complaining to my friend how my lashes are starting to thin, she recommended this makeup remover and was thrilled when Clinique surprised me with this one! It was the perfect time too because I just ran out of the old one I used to get all the time.

Just like your typical eye makeup remover, oil and water are separated like so. This comes in a transparent purple bottle that looks amazing by the way. I have always loved Clinique's packaging so I guess you can say that I am in love with their packaging. Ha!
To use, shake the bottle well and let the product mix together real well before putting some on a cotton pad. Some women use cotton balls, but I prefer using pads so that I can wrap the pad around my finger and swipe it real well on the upper lash line area. The technique makes it easy to wipe on the lashes as well without squeezing too much product into your eye unlike a cotton ball.
What I love about this eye makeup remover is that it doesn't leave any greasy residue whether outside around the eyes or inside! Don't you just hate removers that make your vision blurry? Neither does it irritate the eyes, but still I make it a point that I still cleanse my skin real well after using.

It's a bit on the pricey side for a product that you use like water, but after trying several eye makeup removers over the years, I have found the perfect makeup remover. I won't name names, but before I discovered Clinique's Take the Day Off Makeup Remover, I found a drugstore brand makeup remover and is about a third the cost as Clinique, I have always bought that one thinking it was good enough even though it stung and would take me about 3 cotton pads per eye to remove the makeup.
In a nutshell, this makeup remover quickly lifts away long wearing eye makeup and long lasting lip color as well. Even lip stains, without the skin-tugging game. It doesn't sting the eyes nor does it feel really oily and heavy on the skin. It washes real fast with water!
