Great News for Polish Lovers! Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish is HERE!
I am a polish addict, but not as addicted like Pam of PolishPolice.com, but sadly, I am addicted and I always buy a new shade when I pass by the cosmetics department of Landmark or SM. Imagine my delight when I learned that Maybelline's Color Show Nail Polish has finally arrived in Manila! Yay!
There are also 2 products from the Color Show line: Lipsticks and Liners, but I will be reviewing those in a separate blog post to better review and blog about it. But for now? Let's talk polish! I haven't raved about nail polish in a while.
I received these three beautiful shades from Maybelline as part of their Soho Boho box from the launch event. So fun!

They have a lot of nail polish finishes to choose from! From semi-matte, to high gloss, to glitter, to cracked. Even foiled finish! I just hope Maybelline would bring all of those shades here though!

The best thing about these nail polishes is that they are extremely affordable! Priced at only PhP 99.00 per bottle, it's just a freakin' steal! Sorry, I am a little excited. There were two boxes to choose from at the event and this one is the one i fell in love with the most mainly because of the orange eyeliner and nail polish that were inside the box. I love orange.
This was the first one I used from the bunch because it's a shade that I have never tried before. I would have loved to have used it for more than two days but I change my nail polish as quickly as I do with underwear, that's probably why I buy a lot.
Now this shade is sexy. I love the deep maroon color which is what you don't normally see during the summer that's why I was intrigued. It's a break from all the nudes, the pastels, and the bright colors this summer!
Although these polishes are not limited to summer, or is from a summer collection.
And now, the most fun color of the bunch, the Orange Fix. It looks kind of a bright salmon color in the photo but it actually looks a little muted salmon shade in person. It's probably my photos. I think this shade is the most fun among the three shades.
There are a lot of shades to choose from so knock yourself out! The formula takes about 2 coats to get the full color. It's a little bit thick so you will just have to take a little extra time in drying them. I am extremely excited for Maybelline because they are bringing in more from the Color Show Nail Polish line which is pretty fun and exciting!

This shade has a little bit of shimmer, but not exactly glitter. I was expecting the shade to be sheer but the color is actually quite thick. It's easy to apply because it's not runny. But because of the thick formula, it takes a little bit of time to dry. The surface, however, dries quick. Just don't press or rub it!

This shade is a little bit more tricky to apply (as all dark shades go), because mistakes are more visible, if you are used to applying your own nail polish, then knock yourself out! LOL

I found this shade to be a little it muted. I thought the shade would be a bit brighter but it turned out to be a true-orange. I thought it would be on the bright coral side.
There are a lot of shades to choose from so knock yourself out! The formula takes about 2 coats to get the full color. So much shades to choose from that you can buy as much as you want because they are affordable too! I will definitely buy more shades!
