 #events #fragrance

If there's anything I am addicted to aside from makeup, books, and writing, it would be fragrances. You can tell a lot about a woman or a man with their choice of fragrance. I currently have about 20 different fragrances and I wear each one not by rotation but according to my mood. If I were asked to choose one item to wear and one thing only, it would be fragrance and nothing else. No one will notice you have no clothes on if you smell fabulous. LOL

In other words, fragrance for men or women is the icing on the cake. It is your signature, it tells who you are! So never leave home without it!

As soon as I got to our high tea date, I tested the new fragrance right away. The bottle is the perfect reflection of how the fragrance smells like. Seriously. It's very feminine, classy, but at the same time, sexy, sensual, and a little bit mysterious.

Being the fragrance addict that I am, I was very excited to attend the high tea at TWG in Resorts World. I just loved the set up. We were surrounded by elegance and beauty. They have captured what the new DOLCE fragrance would feel like if it were a feeling.

Six fashion bloggers were invited and three beauty bloggers, but only three fashion bloggers made it to the event. We still had a blast though!

I just love the pastel colors that surrounded us! It was very feminine. I specially loved the pink tea set display. I wanted to take them home!

The table set up was all so elegant as well. We were given our very own Dolce and Gabbana bracelet as well! I will show it to you later.

This is the press kit. Don't you just love how personalized that is? The bracelet with the rose charm is the bracelet I mentioned earlier.

We were served different types of tea. We could take it hot or cold. Of course I had to try both hot and cold! The teas that were offered to us were exquisite! Chosen carefully specially for our little get together to match the them of the fragrance. Teas that were mostly floral. Isn't that wonderful?

We had games too which is always fun! Aireen makes it a point that we have fun in our get togethers. She puts so much effort in simple but fun games!

Here we all are! Time for a group shot! It was the first time I met fashion bloggers Vern and Verniece Enciso of Vern and Verniece and Patricia Prieto of PARADIGMA. Nice to see my lovely ladies Martha Sta. Barbara of TheBeautyJunkee and Angela Nepomuceno of LushAngel.

Of course I had to take a photo with Rustans' Aireen Mayol. We have been working together for a while now and always so fun to be with this lovely woman.

Now let me tell you in detail about Dolce and Gabbana's latest and freshest fragrance. For years D&G has not come out with a new fragrance until today. This new fragrance is inspired by Mr. Domenico Dolce and Mr. Stefano Gabbana's home town of Sicily.

According to Mr. Gabbana, the contemporary fragrance is inspired by a memory. Not only was this fragrance created using tradition essences and other brand-new ingredients, but is interpreted and a translate into what young-love smells like.

I am not sure if this really is the packaging of the fragrance or if it's their press kit presentation. So if it is, I have nothing else left to say. Packaging is just gorgeous! Those are real mirrors too, not just a reflective material. It's made from very strong and sturdy paper material.

This new fragrance is a rich white floral fragrance made from the very rare white flower named White Amaryllis. It only grows in South Africa and during a specific time of the year. It is extracted with special instruments without cutting of the flower to capture the actual scent and essence of the flower. This is the first time the White Amaryllis is used for a fragrance.

TOP NOTES: Nerdi leaves, Papaya flowers.

HEART NOTES: White Amaryllis, White Daffodils, White Water Lily.

BASE NOTES: Cashmeran, Mushy notes, Sandalwood.

Every detail in the design of the bottle has a story. Dolce's packaging mirrors a vintage fragrance falcon. The thick, clear bottle with soft curve lines lends a contemporary design edge. The bottle reveals sparkling glints of vibrant soft green juice as fresh as the Nerdi leaves, one of the ingredients the fragrance is made of.

The flower bottle cover pays a tribute to Sicilian customs, crafted to portray marzipan sculptures seen in traditional Sicilian confectioners.

The ribbon represents femininity, grace, and poise, but the ribbed material represents a woman who is also strong, sensual, and sexy. The cream colored box is soft and smooth to the touch like fine leather.

The final touch to this beautiful packaging is the signed flourish of the name of the fragrance, which is a replica of Domenico Dolce's father's own signature.

If I didn't have this yet, I would definitely love it if hubby gave me this fragrance for Mother's Day!

Dolce by Dolce&Gabbana is available in 30ml (PhP 3,950), 50ml (PhP 5,550) and 75ml (PhP 6,650) EDP bottles. Exclusively available in Rustan's for now, but will soon be available in other leading department stores nationwide.
