A Very Dior Sunday

#beautylookoftheday

It's Sunday once again and instead of doing weddings, I was at the DIOR counter in Edsa Shangri-La doing some one on one makeup consultations for DIOR customers. I did a 4-hour shift talking to different women on how-tos, makeup tips, and product recommendations.

This Sunday, I whipped out my DIOR products and did the DIORSHOW Smoky Eye Look which is basically a very iconic DIOR look.

First of all, thank you DIOR for inviting me to be your featured makeup artist! I am in love with this look. I think smoky eyes are very sexy and can make the eyes look wide-eyed!

This makeup look is very easy to do! I only used 2 shades for this, and a whole lot of patience and blending.

Here are the products I used to achieve the DIORSHOW SMOKY EYE LOOK:

L-R: Dior Vernis in Tuxedo, Dior Vernis in Silver Pearl, Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow in #096 (black) and #826 (pale pink), Dior Crayon Eyeliner Pencil in Black, and Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara
The eyeshadows are like silk. They glide on smoothly even without primer. The best thing is, it is formulated in such a way that you can use them either wet or dry. I used them wet that's why the color intensity is high. If you use the shadows dry, the color is sheer and very wearable during the day.

I lined my water lines with a blendable khol pencil to give that extra drama to the eyes.

Instead of pairing the look with a bright lip color, I just used Dior's Dior Addict Gloss in Pink Trench.

This gorgeous gloss is very dainty and has tiny specks of glitter that make the lips look very juicy! Now finish your look with about 2-3 coats of mascara to give your lashes some length and volume. Diorshow Iconic Overcurl can hold your lashes' curl in place too which I just L.O.V.E.

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope every one had a good day (or in other parts of the world) will have a great day today!
