This month, I received for the very first time a beauty box that contains products for babies! Yes! It has finally sunk in that I truly am about to become a mommy!

I must tell you though, being pregnant is not easy! I have been absent from blogging because I to be quite honest? I have been feeling so sleepy these past few days. Ha! Sleeping and eating have become two tasks I have come to do very well. Hahaha!

Firstly, I would like to say thank you to my Glamourbox family for sending me this "Mommy Box", I am so excited to use them on my baby!

What better way to express yourself this holiday season with bright cheery glosses? I myself am hooked with MAC's Lipglass in Knockout! Anyone who follows my blog won't be surprised that I got hooked on this shade. I love loud and bright colors when it comes to lippies!

I am not so much of a fan of lip glosses because some of them feel a little bit sticky, but when I do like one shade, I am don't care anymore. Lately, I have developed an aversion to heavy, liquid or cream foundations. That's the pregnancy talking, by the way. So lately, I have been opting for light, barely-there CC creams that would certainly do the job without the extra weight on my skin.

Even though my skin is extremely dry now a days and is needing some maximum moisture that I can get from liquid and creamy foundations, I find myself turning away from them lately. So I have been rotating my tinted moisturizers, BB and CC Creams.

My first impression of this foundation when I swatched it on my hand was that I thought it was a little bit too creamy. But after wearing it on my face, I found it quite comfortable and very light to wear! It's oil-free so it was a little bit hard to apply on my exceptionally dry pregnant skin but surprisingly it didn't make my skin feel taught and uncomfortable.

The first time I found out I was pregnant, the first question I had for my OB was how safe were beauty products. She only gave me a handful of ingredients to avoid, and said that skin care is basically OK. And thanks to my friend and fellow blogger Shen of Shen's Addiction for assuring me that skin care is ok for preggy! But for some who are wary about putting anything on their skin while pregnant but have to because their skin needs it, you can always turn to organic.

Recently, I have committed myself to using two of these organic products and see how they fair. Pregnant skin is a lot different from your usual skin type. Some people retain their skin type, but most often, people shift from one skin type to another. Like me, I shifted from normal to extremely dry! For some, from dry to extremely oily.

Yes, you get a fresh batch of hormones everyday that will test your patience and of your husbands as well. Hahaha! So using these organic products from Eden's Paradise for two whole weeks, I am able to tell you what I think!

Wearing dark and bright lipsticks (specially matte ones) can be a pain when you have dry flaky lips! Thank goodness for lip scrubs! What I love about Ellana's lip scrub is their all-natural ingredients so it's good for mommies-to-be like me!

Thanks to Glamourbox for including this in last month's beauty box, I was introduced to this wonderful product. I usually make my own lip scrub at home (you can find the recipe HERE), but discovering this product, I don't think I'll be makin' any more of my own!

Guess who's finally back! Well, duh! Me! LOL

It's been so long and I have missed you all! I missed out in posting the whole month of September because I have been on strict bed rest because of some tricky biz with my pregnancy, but not to worry! Baby is and me are ok! I just had to keep still for a while (which was hard work!), but I did it and now I can move around a little bit to do some blogging. Still can't go out of the house though or do anything strenuous like washing the dishes. Ha! I got out of that one!

I have been staying in my parents' house for a few weeks, and now that I am back home, first order of business is unboxing my September BDJ Box! I practically ripped it open because unboxing always excites me. Specially when I have been away for about a month. (Hugs iMac computer -I missed you!!)
