I did the set cards for the models of JHGS Modeling Co., an agency based in Bangkok. They have an office here but most of their models are from Bangkok only. So they came here to shoot their set cards! SOSYAL! It was a week long shoot but it was so fun! I love it!!

Some were shot in the studio and some were outdoors. Fun fun fun!

It’s a new year and with it comes change. All around us we’ll see the latest trends whether it be in fashion or in beauty. We want to know what’s hot and the hairstyles for 2007 are certainly no exception.
This year we’ll see the continuation of length in both waves and romantic curls will be favored. Hair will be more natural and undone for 2007 and chemical use is definitely out. Instead add-on hairpieces will be favored as well as anything that doesn’t damage hair. Long lengths are great for women who don’t mind taking a little time for this style. Flip through your favorite hairstyle magazine for this style then try out the secret many salons are sharing. Spritz hair with a light hairspray such as L'Oreal's Elnett Hairspray and tie your mane in a messy bun at least 30 minutes before your night out. Let hair dry for a natural wavy look without the exaggerated chemical and curling iron damage. For a celebrity copycat look, check out Jennifer Aniston and Mariah Carey who have been seen wearing this style.

L'Oreal Colour Trophy Fashion Show

Even with the popularity of length, shorter styles are certainly no stranger to 2007 latest hair trends either. Shaggy styles, pixies and bobs that are very short at the nape have suddenly become popular thanks to the celebrity and the fashion world. Curls are popular on the shorter styles as well. Hair accessories seem to be all the rage again this year as well. Women have been spotted in everything from headbands, to barrettes to silk flowers in their hair.

For color we’ll see women leaning toward lighter shades rather than darker ones. Also warmer shades will be a big hit. Expect shades of red and auburn to be popular as well.

Remember that the above styles will probably sport several variations, so you don’t have to stick with just one simple style. Find one that suits you. You can have your "messy-do" in an up-style, a ponytail, or just let it hang loose.

Kelly Misa for Seventeen Magazine. These 2 editorials were shot on the same day, both fashion and beauty. It was a long shoot, but a fun one!

My first shoot with Pocholo Ignacio. I was recommended by my makeup artist friend Cathy Cantada. We had a test shoot in Alabang at Pocholo's house. Our model was Ariani Noguiera from Brazil. She was so lovely to work with and everyone at the shoot was so nice! To this date, I remain friends with Pocholo and Louie Sumcio. We shoot whenever we are all free to play around for test shoots!

I was booked for a shoot for the portfolio of Monique Borja by her cousin Ces Guerrero. Ces is a makeup artist too and I did this shoot with photographer Ari Mallare. Here are our shots of Monique:





It only took us about 5 hours to shoot everything! I also helped with the styling. Monique had great clothes so it was a minimal styling thing... I did hair and makeup here which I was pretty proud of! Haha!
