How to jumpstart your dull skin with Leaders' Energy Masks
I have been a loyal mask user for more than 15 years now, remember St. Ives clay masks? I started with those, and as our beauty industry evolved, so did our selection of masks. I love what masks do to my skin, whether they'd be the clay kind or the sheet masks, some are even in powder form and you just add water to make a mask. But no matter the form -they serve the same purpose: they soak up dirt and oil (and other skin impurities) to leave skin softer and smoother, or they hydrate parched skin, or control oily skin, etc. They can also make the pores appear smaller, which is why they're worth using weekly or daily if you've got the extra money to spare.
Now we have Leaders Philippines bringing us some of Korea's best masks not only for the face, but they have for the hair, feet and hands too! I totally loved Leaders' Hydrogel Eye Therapy Patch because it really got rid of my zombie looking eyes, and really provided so much hydration!

There are 4 masks in the Energy Mask category and it took me 4 days to jumpstart my masking regimen. Because of my pregnancy, the hormones really took a really bad toll on my skin. I would breakout and my skin would look really dry and dull (and not to mention FLAKY!). I needed to use a mask that would be safe for me and baby too!
I started with the RED ENERGY mask, a coconut bio mask with tomato that would restore the firmness of my skin. Staying up late every night taking care of Henri really has made my skin droop and lose its elasticity.
The benefits of tomato essence for the skin include increasing fairness (brightening), balancing pH, tightening pores, treating sunburn, reducing irritation and curing acne. It can also treat a lot of common skin problems!

On top of that, blueberries are also packed with vitamin C, another antioxidant crucial for collagen production.

You first peel the back part of the mask which is made from a thick sheet of paper, and you apply it on your face. Then you peel the front part of the mask which is another sheet of thick paper, leaving the thin jelly mask behind.
I love how you can mold the mask to your face and how it really sticks to the face. Each mask is packed and soaked with essence. The special type of material the mask is made of makes the serum get absorbed by the skin more effectively, and your skin ends up soaking it all up rather than most of it evaporated.
Even after your masking session for 20-30 minutes, the mask remains quite soaked with serum because of the special non-absorbent material.
I applied each mask everyday for 4 days starting with the one that contains Tomato, on the second day, I applied the Moisture Mask which contains Blueberries. Then on the third day, is the soothing treatment which contains Broccoli. And on the last day, I finished with a shining mask which contains Oranges.
I immediately noticed my skin looking really energetic and alive! Even if you do not use all four of these masks, you will definitely see improvement on your skin. Only after a day, I noticed my skin was plump and has a glow that came from within.
I know you would normally hear that from most masks, but this one is different because I think it's because of the special material the mask is made of. Plus, the skin care these masks contain is high end. I also noticed my pores were cleaner and appeared smaller.
The effects are long lasting too so I would definitely recommend having to do a masking treatment once a week or even twice if you can afford it. If I could, I'd apply a mask everyday!
No wonder Koreans considers masking a crucial part of their skin care regimen!
MY OVERALL RATING: ★★★★★

I am so not a mask kind of gal - I'm too lazy! Just thinking of cleaning up the essence's drips makes me sigh.
ReplyDeleteLOL well, to each his own :) ... Although the benefits of masking are so amazing ♥ I can't live without masking at least once a week! Maybe you should try the paste-y kind of masks... those don't drip :)
DeleteThese sound really fantastic! And they are very unique masks as well. So glad you had a positive experience with them :)
