Eyebrow Week Part 2 Day 2: Majolica Majorca Brow Customize and Brow Colorist (Updated)
It's been a while since I last reviewed something about Majolica Majorca, and I am glad to be reintroduced to this brand and with eyebrow products too!
I have always been curious about their products, and I have been hearing so much great reviews on them too! So when MM sent me their eyebrow products, I was thrilled! Now I am reviewing/featuring this duo because I was told that they go perfectly well with each other. Of course, brow grooming is not complete without the brow mascara! But if you have your brows colored already, then the mascara is not really a must.

I have never used eyebrow products with this kind of shape before (for real), so using this one was a different experience for me. It was something new! I had to find the right way to hold it to apply on my brows.
When doing my brows clients with an angled brow brush (I assumed this was the concept), I knew how to hold the brush, but with this type of product, I kind of had to find my chi on how to apply it on myself.

The refill (0.25g) and holder are sold separately. But you can't use the refill without the holder because the other refills are mechanical, so you need the holder to be able to twist up the product. You can choose between brow powder, brow customize super slim and brow customize sword cut, all can fit with the holder.

The holder is made from tough plastic/acrylic and it won't easily break. It's a universal holder for the Brow Customize refills and they always fit perfectly.
I found this really cute to use because it's like transformers but with an eyebrow product. I like the idea that you can only buy refills. It's really economical, and earth-friendly because you reuse the holder.Using the spoolie for grooming after brow drawing would help to create a more natural finish. The spoolie will help you blend out the edges of any harsh lines.
To avoid breakage, twist out only a small portion of the product and just twist more if you need more. The cartridge head might leave wax stains on the tip of the holder during application, so do wipe off the stain with tissue after each application to keep the tip of the holder clean.
In terms of lasting power, it's very good! It lasted on me the whole day until I had to remove it with Bioré Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets when I got home. I think the women of Manila will love using this because it is water-resistant, as well as it it sebum-resistant. Unless you have extremely oily skin, then maybe it won't last on you as long as it did on me.
My brows would look cooler and nicer if I had them trimmed and groomed before this post, but you can see here how nicely it blends in between the hairs without it looking tattooed or drawn on. You have to work fast in blending the product because it tends to set quite fast on the skin and you might have a harder time erasing any mistakes.
I didn't think I needed it, but decided to use the Brow and Lash Colorist as well. I thought that the shade BR555 was too dark for me, but it was actually perfect! It was the perfect shade of brown that didn't make my brows look too blonde that would clash with my hair color.

Initially, when I swatched this product on my hand, I found it too dark for me -thinking it won't do anything to color my already dark eyebrows, but it really surprised me when it did tint my brows to a lighter shade of brown that would go perfectly with my already darkened roots.
I like how subtle it looks, and not too glittery or too shiny. It looks rather natural rather than too crispy or too painted on.
Tinting my brows with a lighter shade than my hair color, really brightened up my face. My brows no longer looks too strong or too "mataray" looking because it has a softer shade of brown.
On my face: Maybelline White Super Fresh, Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks, Flormar Khol Kajal Smokey Eyes Ultra Black Effect, The Balm Schwing Liquid Liner, Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick
