#eyebrowweek

And of course, there is also the classic eyebrow pencil for the more conventional woman who do not want to steer too far away from the products that they have gotten used to already. Even though this eyebrow pencil may look like your ordinary pencil, it is anything but.

I'm sure you are overwhelmed by now on which eyebrow product to choose specially when you are buying your first eyebrow product. Well, Pencil is the best variant to start with -specially mechanical ones.

"Eye of Horus' Ultimate Brow Define pen has a slimline pointed tip to contour and fill in your brows with controlled artistry for perfect arches. Add shape, colour and definition in one streamlined tool, and use the spoolie brush on reverse tip to shape for the perfect Goddess brows.
The mechanical twist up, wax based formula of Candelilla wax and Coconut Oil never needs sharpening and once applied, stays put. The smudge-proof, long wearing pencil brushes and blends to deliver a stunning natural effect. Also including Castor Oil to enhance brow condition and growth."
Eye of Horus Ultimate Brow Define in Husk (light/medium), Dynasty (medium/dark), and Nile (dark), PhP 950/each

Excited? Me too! More after the Ultimate Brow Define after the break!

The all-new EOH Ultimate Brow Define comes in three shades that caters to a lot of hair colors, and not only for Asians: Husk which is a light to medium shade of brown, Dynasty which is a medium to dark shade of brown, and Nile which is the darkest of browns from the collection.
They come in champagne gold colored reflective boxes that is just so Cleopatra-chic. I love it. It's just hard to read the ingredients label though.
Loaded with different skin-benefiting oils including coconut oil. If you can't read the ingredients on the box, it's ingredients consists of:

Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Polythylene, Hydrogentated Vegetable Oil, Zinc Stearate, Candelilla Cera, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Mica, Polyglyceryl-2 Trilsostearate, Methicone, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, May Contain Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide Black (CI 77499), Iron Oxide Yellow (CI 77492), Iron Oxide Red (CI 77491)

If you're pregnant and wondering about Soybean Oil, I know some people would say to avoid anything SOY-based products while pregnant because this ingredient can make dark splotches on facial skin worse because Soy has estrogenic effects, which can make those dark patches, also known as melasma or chloasma worse -don't worry about it too much. Even though this product consists mainly from Soybean Oil, it won't be bad for your pregnant skin.
I am totally loving the very slim packaging of this brow mechanical pencil. It's very easy to handle and to control which makes it easy to do light strokes in filling in the brows. Mechanical pencils are always the most convenient to own because you won't need to bring a sharpener with you when you travel. Plus, you can retract the product and protect the tip to keep the tip safe incase the cover falls out in your bag.
You twist the upper part of the pencil to dispense product. No need for a sharpener because it's very easy to keep it pointed for application.
One end of the eyebrow pencil is a SPOOLIE brush that you can use to shape the brows and blend the product to erase any harsh lines. I bet you didn't know it was called a spoolie brush? Don't fret! Being 10 years in the industry, this is the first time I heard anyone call that brush a spoolie -it just used to be a mascara brush for the longest time for me.
I had to swipe the product on my skin several times to get them to appear this dark. It's a very light pigmented product so you don't have to worry about having to look like you have tattooed eyebrows on. It's really great for filling in because the fine tip let's you get in between your brows.
Using the Light Ashe Blonde pencil and with a very light hand, I shaded my brows like coloring a coloring book moving back and forth. I kept at it because it's really not that pigmented unlike kohl eyeliners so it takes several strokes to get some color into your brows. I used the Medium Brown shade to draw half of my brow up to the tail to emphasize the ends because as I have mentioned before, this is the part where it gets cut off when light hits your face, or gets erased right away when you sweat.

This pencil also won't color the hairs of your brows so you would have to use an eyebrow mascara for that. On myself here though I didn't use any brow tints or anything. This is just the pencil.
I love how they fill my brows real well and creates the illusion of a really groomed brow in spite of me not getting a threading yet for days. Ha! It gives definition to any brow specially if you don't know what your brows are thinking when all the hairs are going to different directions.

It's always hard to not have edges on the start of your brows and this pencil makes it so easy to look blended even though you haven't actually blended it yet!
I would definitely recommend this rather than buying just an ordinary generic (no brand) brow pencil you usually find in department stores. Those pencils are usually very hard to control and hyper pigmented making you look like you have drawn on (scary) eyebrows like the photo below:
