How much is my face worth?

by - Sunday, October 07, 2012

I saw Miss Sultana's blog post about how this thing is going around with other bloggers. I enjoyed reading hers so much that I decided to do this for you guys!

I go to meetings a lot so I have to wear makeup everyday. And in the afternoons and the evenings, I attend events or some nights meet up with some friends for dinner and drinks. So makeup is a must for someone like me who makes a living out of makeup.

My pro kit is filled with top of the line, expensive branded products. But for me? I use great quality budget products!

Ok, here goes:

When I need fast coverage on-the-go, this one is my go-to powder
MAC Studio Fix Foundation (P1,700.00)

I love that this eyebrow powder has 4 shades!
Fanny Serrano Eyebrow Powder (P350.00)

I just love handy stuff! This bronzer is so handy, and it only has slight shimmer. I am not so much for matte bronzers, and this one takes the cake!
ELF Cosmetics Healthy Glow Bronzer (P129.75)

It has both pink and orange tones so it can be used weather I am wearing eye makeup that has either warm or cool undertones. It's all the blush that you need to keep in your purse.
Prestige Blush in Seagrass (P350.00)

The only black eyeliner pencil that makes a liquid line effect. It's stays put too!
Covergirl Liquiline Blast in Black (P450.00)

Mascaras by Maybelline never fail me. No matter the line they come up with, they live up to the promise.
Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara (P375.00)

This lip balm is just D' Bomb! I love that it has that minty feel and it cures my cracked lips! I just apply at night and my lips are soft the next day! I use this al throughout the day when my lips feel dry! You must be wondering why this jar looks different from the ones they sell here, well, I hoard these when I'm in the US because it's only $2 there.
CARMEX lip balm (P99.75)

This lip color is so versatile. You can wear it for the day and for the night, even with smoky eyes!
MAC Lipstick in Pink Nouveau (P1,000)

Now, if I know I don't have time to go home to change, I bring an overnight bag with a change of party clothes to my parents' condo and change there. Then I bring my ultimate palette:

I got this on sale in the US so don't react just yet! Hahaha! Got it on sale for only $30! I'm a cheap-O when it comes to my own makeup because I already know I am not allergic. This is the only palette I have in my overnight bag!
SMASHBOX Wish for the Perfect Palette (P3,950) -No longer available
Of course I need to look a little bit more glam (and exaggerated at night! HAHAHA!) So I have to have my falsies!
Ardell Natural False Eyelashes (P375.00)

I have to bring my travel brushes when I am putting makeup elsewhere. These were a gift to me from Cheryl of Suesh years ago (maybe about 3 years ago)?
SUESH 5pc Travel Brush Set (P950)

So, according to the products I use to put makeup on my face every day and sometimes at night, I am worth:

P4,454.50
But at night, I cost a little bit more:
P9,729.50

Hope you guys will try this game! I had so much fun doing it! LOL If you're reading this, you've been tagged! Let me know when you've done this, I want to see how much you're worth :) This is just for fun and for laugh ladies :) ENJOY!

  8. I love Carmex and Suesh too! ^_^ I use Carmex as my night treatment, I probably should get the jarred version, I have a feeling it will last longer than the twisty-ish packaging.

    1. I think the ones in the jar is more "matipid" than the ones in the tube. Ever since I have been buying the one in the jar coz they last longer, and they don't get squished! LOL
