Beautified at La Mer

Yesterday, was a special day.

I never tried La Mer before, but I was given the opportunity to enjoy one of their luxurious facials offered to press and VIPs only.

I have heard so much about La Mer and I was so excited when I got their invitation I could hardly sit still.


The location of the top-secret room (which they turned into a Spa) is sent to you a day before your appointment. When you enter, you are greeted by a relaxing environment full of La Mer information brochures and stuff.


La Mer's beauty expert then explains to you their products. I really learned a lot from her. She really knew about the products.

Look at that set up? Nice right? They really turned one of the suites into a mini spa. It smelled of La Mer products and a hint of aromatherapy oils.


You are given "you" time to get settled. There is a robe provided and a pair of fluffy slippers. Really very classy.


The treatment lasted almost an hour. It included a full facial using the La Mer line, plus a 30 minute head, neck, shoulder, and arms massage!

After my treatment, my skin really felt plump and hydrated. My face felt beautiful, actually, I felt beautiful! My face was smooth to the touch, and it didn't feel dry at all. In short, my skin really glowed:


This is me after my treatment. No filters and no editing. My face was dewy, hydrated, and glowing!

    Your skin is super beautiful. :P I, on the other hand, have lots of blemishes on my face(nakaconceal lang kaya di pansin). hehehe. Glad you like La Mer. I've read some reviews that this product is quite overrated and overpriced. What are your thoughts about it? Is it worth the moolah? ;P

      Hi Maggie! Thanks for dropping by! I did like La Mer but of course, it is pricey! 16k/bottle. I think the effects lang are more instant kaya it's mahal, but I grew up using other skin care products that worked naman for me :) I think it depends on the person's skin type...

      I mean, can you imagine, I'm allergic to Clarins and Clinique when they are supposed to be really good brands and hypoallergenic? WEIRD! When I was with Lancome I used naman their products and raved about them! Hahaha! So I think it depends... If you feel like slurging, you go for luxury, if not naman, there are so much other skin care out there na worth it! ♥
