Brighter Skin in 2 Weeks with Godiva

Facial washes make me happy! If you find a really good one, it will be your best friend specially if you are a makeup lover like me! Remember, you really have to remove everything you put on your face before going to bed!
I received this LicoWhite Whitening Facial Wash from Godiva about 6 weeks ago and I have been dying to try it out! And since it was the perfect size for travel, I brought it with me to New York.

Some people don't like whitening facial washes because they think only their face will turn white but I actually like using them because they target only darkened spots. At least this is what I believe.
It says that the wash contains Licorice Extract, an ingredient known for whitening. It does contain Licorice Extract, which is listed at the very bottom of the ingredients list. This got me wondering how much Licorice Extract it does contain.
Packaging is a squeeze tube with a resealable snap cap which I like. I am not really a fan of twist caps. They're always so hard to recap when your hand is slippery with soap.
Consistency is neither creamy nor is it gel. It's actually a mixture of both but more runny. I do like the citrus smell. Most whitening products smell citrus-y so I'm not surprised of their chosen fragrance. Plus, it makes your skin smell clean.
When mixed with water, it doesn't have bubbles. Me? I love bubbles in my facial washes. This one is like Cetaphil when being washed off with water. I like bubbles because it makes me feel that my face is squeaky clean.
Finally I get to share with you my results! The photo on the left was taken before I left for New York. And 18 days later, I took a photo which is on the right. Same camera, same time of day, same lighting conditions, and same location.
Click the photo to take a closer look. As you can see, most of my pimple scars have lightened, and my skin is visibly brighter. Not whiter and paler, but brighter. Old and stubborn discoloration on my face remained on my face so I guess with prolonged use, they would eventually disappear. It didn't do anything for my freckles either.

- I love the smell! It smells fresh.
- Non-drying! My face doesn't feel tight after washing.
- Has a slim packaging. Not bulky so very handy!
- My face feels smoother and softer after 2 weeks.
- Available in sachets! 6ml sachets for PhP 5.00/each
- I don't like the consistency. It's too runny.
- No bubbles. Boooo! (But this is just my preference)
- Takes a while to rinse off because it feels slimy.

Deleteaww. I always look for a facial wash that makes my face squeeky when rinsed because it makes me feel my face is thoroughly clean. I am not a fan of slimy feeling after rinse. I only tried the whitening cream. I think that is something you put after using this wash (obviously ;p) and another, their whitening soap is so cute because the appearance is clear! :D
