Get the Look: Glowing Skin

#getthelook

Who doesn't love dewy, glowing skin? Oh, and there is a fine line between looking greasy and looking positively radiant! A lot of women are scared of shine that they apply every mattifying product known to man (or woman). There's nothing wrong with having matte skin if that is your preference. But having absolutely no sheen to your skin can add years to your face. Glow adds youth, so go for glow!

Here is my peg:

Ahh.. Megan Fox. Who doesn't love her perfect face? I love how simple she does her makeup even on the red carpet. She has gorgeous features so why hide it behind makeup right? I have tried several iridescent products to achieve the 'dew, and there was only one: Revlon Skinlights. That is, until they discontinued it (Why, Revlon, wwhhyyyyyy?).

And then along came Physicians Formula's Mineral Glow Pearls. They come in 4 beautiful shades:

It was a toss-up between shades (specially when you're ordering them online, and from the US nonetheless) but I went with Translucent and I couldn't be happier.

Uber cute packaging, I was a little bit reluctant to open it because I didn't want to destroy the box! Very compact for touch-ups!

It has real Pearl Extracts which are basically protein complexes, amino acids and polysaccharides which Synergistically enhance skin moisture and UV protection, Promote growth of new skin cells, Maintain skin tone and anti-ageing. And it's the ingredient responsible for giving that natural shine-from-within glow!

The powder is pretty tightly packed that you don't end up a lot on your face every time you sweep your brush. It doesn't break easily as well.

Dewy effect that doesn't contain glitter or shimmer particles! Very moist looking and doesn't look sparkly! Ok, the down side is -it's not readily available in Manila (boooo!) But there are a lot of online sellers now who offer Physicians Formula or offer pre-ordering of cosmetic products that are not available here!

I made a video tutorial on how to achieve Megan Fox's beautiful makeup look on the red carpet with bold orange lips! Please watch the video below.

So, are you a matte or dewy skin kinda gal? Let me know!

  4. Sometimes, I go dewy (during cold days) and matte on dry ones because I have oily t-zone :( But this look is so gorgeous! At first glance, I can see that it could be for runway look too. Will bookmark this! Thanks Ms. Sabs ♥
