Q&A: How do I put on eye shadow?
A lot of clients and friends of mine always ask me this question: "How do I put on eye shadow? What colors do you think will suit me? What products, what tools?"
Hmm... Let's see how I can explain this the simplest way I can. Try this technique: Break down your eyes in 3 parts: your brow bone, crease, and your eye lid.
brow bone with shimmer? A matte ivory color maybe? More depth in the crease? A beautiful
Let's talk about colors. Well, I always promote wearing ANY color you want, it just has to be the right one that is perfect for your skin tone. Colors are either warm or cool. If you have warm skin tone, colors with orange or peach undertones would look best on you! Even earth shades! Try apricots, golds, rose browns, etc. If you have a cool skin tone, use colors that have a bluish undertone such as blues, mauves, rose, even burgundy!
Let's talk about Products. There are so many cosmetic products right now in the market so take your pick. Choosing one that would best suit your skin depending on the level of sensitivity, so take your time.
The most important tip I can give you is to blend, blend, blend! You don't want any visible lines one your eyes. One shouldn't be able to tell where the color begins and where it ends. It should be flawless and smooth.
