Bath time for Henri is always fun because he loves taking a bath! He also loves his big yellow tub! He's a toddler now, but I still love using baby stuff on him, specially Johnson's because they always smell so good and so baby-ish.

Remember when I featured Belo Baby? These are milder in terms of fragrance smelling like milk, oats, and honey. I have no idea how they managed to do that, but they just do. When Johnson's sent me this basket of goodies containing their new baby bath line that contains milk+oats, I was really excited for Henri!

While some moms prefer it, I however, have never opted for soaps that left a squeaky clean feel on the skin. That just means your skin is stripped away of its natural oils leaving the skin dry after bath time. I love moisturizing bath soaps that would leave the skin feeling more hydrated than ever. I have experienced this with all of Johnson's baby bath line.

So, how different is this from the original one? Well, Johnson's introduces us to two ultra moisturizing powers of of milk and oats—two potent ingredients specifically formulated to restore soap-damaged skin to its healthy, moisturized state.
To provide solid scientific background on the effectiveness of oats on skin, Dr. Ma. Victoria Dizon informs us the gentle, skin-friendly and moisturizing properties of oats that are ideal for baby and mommy to use.

To get a first-hand experience of the power of the new JOHNSON’S® Milk+Oats™ baby bath and lotion, I myself applied the products on my skin, and I could feel the instant  moisture it did on my extremely dry skin. I'm surprised I didn't hog these products and actually gave them to Henri!
The ingredients lists however does provide a little concern, it containing SLS or Sodium Laureth Sulfate, an ingredient that has gotten a bad rep for causing cancer. But there are no real back up research to support this claim, some people still get scared in using this ingredient.

I love how the product is extremely thick and milky. I just love the smell, and the fragrance lingers on the skin for a long time. Specially when you top it off with the lotion.
Henri loves applying the soap on himself, and he loves the bubbles it leaves on his tub!
After rinsing his body off of the suds, his skin feels really soft, and it doesn't literally squeak when you run your fingers on his clean skin. The skin feels really smooth and silky, and very plump.
Henri loves his Milk+Oat Baby Bath
The baby lotion is also very light on the skin and dries in a velvet-y smooth finish on both my skin and Henri's skin. The fact that it's suitable for sensitive skin, makes it safe for the face as well.
Totally in love with the smell of this variant, I am really hooked. It does not contain any harmful perfumes or any of the sort. It just smells really soothing for me and most specially Henri.
It has a creamy consistency, but it is not a heavy cream lotion or butter type. It has a spreadable consistency that you can easily apply on your skin or your baby's.
Henri enjoys applying it on his arms and his legs while singing "This is the way..." that we learned from watching Little Baby Bum on YouTube.

Here are some fun facts you need to know about the NEW Johnson's Baby Milk+Oat line:

  1. There are times I want to reach for something more gentle than my usual bath soaps especially ones with milk and oats. Maybe I should try baby bath items time to time. I do a lot of DIY scrubs that contains oat, milk/yogurt and honey. :)

    1. Oh cool! DIYs are the best! I love making my own scrubs with coffee too! ♥ Sometimes when my skin is really dry I opt for baby wash than the fruity ones they have in the supermarket because they tend to make the skin more dry!
