#aboutface

WOW! It's been 2 months since my last post and in the blogging world, it might as well been 2 years. I have been so busy these past couple of months with the baby, having growth spurts come in and out, plus running a start up business. For those of you who do not know my business, NEKKID is my very own brand. I will save that post for another day though.

Having missed blogging, and most of you know, blogging keeps me sane -here's a powder I have been wanting to brag about for the past couple of months. I have been using this compact for 2 months and sad to say it's almost out. I will have to move on after this though because I have so much pressed powders lined up to try and show you guys.

Today let's talk about Tony Moly's Cotton Pact Delight Powder.

More after the break.

I know that this powder comes in two shades: Clear and Beige. I got the beige one. It comes in a very compact size too which is really just very convenient to take around because it doesn't take too much space in your makeup kit!
I am loving the shade because it's almost translucent. It's light and fluffy and does not cast a white cast on my skin when we take photos with a flash.
I wish other brands would peg their compact to this size because it's really so portable and it's great for touchups, specially on night outs. Not that I have been going out at night though, I have been staying at home taking care of the baby.
Swiping it on my hand using my finger, it's really so sheer, but it does give a decent amount of coverage on your skin if you want to look fresh but not fully made up. I love using this powder as a setting powder though because I don't look over done, which a lot of powder does on me when I use them as setting powder on top of liquid foundation.
Using liquid foundation on areas that I need it most like my nose, chin, and cheeks, I blended it out as thinly as I possibly can and set it with this powder. The result is just flawless and I just fell in love with it.

It has a very fluffy and cotton-like consistency which I love. It comes with a tiny velour puff too under the powder which I forgot to take a photo of. Sorry about that.
Here's a full frontal view of my makeup look for today as I prepare to go to the paediatrician with Henri. I was going for a very clean, put-together look without looking over done so this is what I came up with. I didn't even bother putting anything on my brows because I haven't gotten them shaped yet.

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS:
