What better way to express yourself this holiday season with bright cheery glosses? I myself am hooked with MAC's Lipglass in Knockout! Anyone who follows my blog won't be surprised that I got hooked on this shade. I love loud and bright colors when it comes to lippies!

I am not so much of a fan of lip glosses because some of them feel a little bit sticky, but when I do like one shade, I am don't care anymore. If you are not used to wearing bright and bold lip colors, this season may be the perfect time for you to try them out! Come on! Let's be festive! This shade will make your spirits feel lifted, guaranteed!

MAC Lipglass in Knockout, PhP 1,000

This lip glass shade is described in their website as red with pearlized finish. But I don't quite see the pearlized finish. It's more of a high-gloss.
MAC's lipglass glosses are very pigmented so you get what you see on the tube. Whatever shade you choose judging by how the shade looks on the tube, and thats the shade you will get.
It has a very creamy, jelly-like consistency that feels a little bit sticky at first but eventually goes away. I love pairing this lipgloss with a bare face so that only my lips would make a statement. It definitely doesn't glide on smoothly like balm, but the sticky feeling would disappear after a while.

It looks more orange to me than red. Which I think would look very great this holiday! I love sporting shades of reds during the Christmas season because it's so festive!
If you need a comparison in terms of the feel of the gloss, I would say that Maybelline Lip Polish glides on smoother than the MAC Lipglass but the pigment is definitely not as high as MAC's. Maybelline Lip Polish do not have loud and bold colors like MAC.

If you are looking for the same high-pigment high-gloss effect without the sticky feeling, I would go for MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil instead.
