Remember when I said that all these pregnancy hormones has been making my skin so dry? And when I say dry, I mean flaky and splotchy, itchy and powders do not stick! The first 4 weeks I was glowing, but as my pregnancy progresses, my skin lost its glow. The doctor said it's all the hormones that it making my skin do that. She just said to look for a moisturizer that would work well for it, and that is safe for pregnant women.

Well, I got this product just in time when I was in dire need of an intense new moisturizing product to add to my existing mega-moisture regimen! It has been 3 months that I am experiencing this kind of dryness, when my skin started to peel from being SO dry.  

I received this a couple of months back, and I have been saving it for a special occasion, and now is that time! Shiseido's NEW Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate has really done it for me. It goes on very smoothly and lightly and it makes the skin look very much hydrated and refreshed. It even gives me me a glow!

Although it does cost quite a bit of money it doesn't go to waste! As serum prices go, this one is actually quite affordable. Most serums go for about PhP 4,000 above so this is pretty much a steal.
Shiseido's packaging never ceases to amaze me. I love their very high class, imported-looking packaging using top notch materials. The capsule-style, tinted bottle protects the serum from light.
It has a seal on the side of the bottle which crinkles up and there will be folds if it has been opened. So make sure you check the seal!
The fragrance is a bit strong for me, but that's the pregnancy talking. The smell is not terrible or overpowering exactly, my sense of smell is just multiplied now because of the pregnancy. It's actually a nice scent.

There are 2 sizes available: 30ml (PhP 3,500) and 50ml (PhP 4,998). If you would like to try it out first, start with the 30ml, it will last you for more than a couple of months.
The bottle is well designed so that only a pea sized drop comes out which is a perfect amount. But since the formula is a bit runny, it spreads easily and will cover your entire face. After about a month of using it both in the morning and at night before moisturizer, I still had about 90% left in the bottle.
So anyway, almost a month of using this product, I can honestly say that really really love it. I never experienced this dryness before, but because of the pregnancy hormones, I am flaky and splotchy but this serum has restored the glow and the suppleness of my skin!
