Better Sun Protect This Summer!
I have long given up on tanning. It's useless with my skin type because just three days after I tan, my skin goes back to being fair. So, might as well embrace the natural color of my skin I was blessed with by keeping it protected from the sun to prevent premature formation of wrinkles, and the appearance of sunspots and freckles.
I have been dying to try Nivea's lotion with SPF 25 and cooling mist. Just in time too for summer that they sent me this cool gift bag (thank you Nivea and SampleRoom!)
So, I was able to do a test run on the whitening serum when I did my morning walk with my dog Mylo. Since morning sun is said to be harmless (until 10:00AM at least), I didn't want to lather on sunscreeen of over 30SPF. I applied the lotion on my arms, neck and chest and headed outside.
The formula is very light and gets absorbed quickly. No sticky feeling after applying! It smells good too! It doesn't give you that shiny, greasy look as well.
When I stepped outside it was a little humid but it was breezy. Mylo and I walked for about an hour at 6:30AM, and the sun was in full bloom at 7AM. We got back to the apartment a little sweaty, but not sticky. That is always a plus for me.
Of course, I had to try the cooling mist! Yay!

It has high SPF so you can spray it all over your body as often as you like. It will keep you cooled and protected from the sun!
Non-greasy indeed! I love that it delivers as promised. When you spray it, just leave it to air dry to completely maximize the "cooling experience". (Yes, I just said that.)
When you spray on your face, don't spray it directly. I would advise spraying it on your hands and applying it on your face. Because spraying directly on your face even with your eyes closed, it will still sting your eyes (I learned that the hard way because I wasn't reading the instructions).
It dries quickly too but the revitalized feeling lasts quite a while. I love how cool it feels on the skin. It kinda smells like minty sunblock. It sprays continuously too like hairspray so it's uber convenient!

ReplyDeleteHi! Even though Nivea Cooling Mist is non-greasy, it may be used on the face (avoiding the eye area though) but not as a moisturizer since it is not formulated to moisturize like normal moisturizers :)
