In general, meaning other brands that cary CC Cream, is supposed to have a lighter coverage compared to the traditional BB creams, so you can actually use the CC Cream to correct your tone and then apply a liquid foundation on top -but some women find the extra product to feel quite heavy on their skin so I advise just using the CC Cream under a powder foundation or just plain face powder.

Although some brands do make their CC Cream formula thick so that it will have a fuller more thick coverage so one can skip applying liquid foundation. This CC Cream has a good consistency and coverage therefore it’s a great choice for those who still want to put powder foundation on top or even liquid foundation.
Lately, I have been using the Revlon CC Cream as my primer to smooth out my pores and really tired skin, cancel out any redness before I apply my powder to create a smooth flawless base. I like to pair this with my new favorite powder foundation, Maybelline White SuperFresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder and the result is just lovely! My skin looked so flawless and glowy-dewy like I still have 8 hours of sleep every night LOL. It’s definitely not the oily kind of dewy-shine but a healthy looking skin glow.
The oil control on my dry–combination skin is about 3 hours which is quite good considering that the CC cream is so lightweight and thin in consistency. But blotting is a must all throughout the day. I did notice that my nose is not anymore as oily as it was during pregnancy so I guess that's why it has a stronger longevity now on my skin.

Overall, I think it’s a very nice CC cream especially for normal to dry skin because of the moisturizing feel of the product, plus it will make your dry skin look much more supple because of the light reflective properties it has. You can get away with it too if you’re combination skin, but for oily skin ladies, you’ll have to powder after applying this cc cream for longer lasting makeup.
The Revlon CC Cream is very different from the ones I have tried in the past: ANEW 15-in-1 CC Cream, MAC Prep+Prime Colour Correcting SPF 30 PA+++,  Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream, and H2O+ CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30PA+++. Revlon CC cream is a good product to start with if you are new to CC Creams. It's uncomplicated and it does the job well too!

This product is for when I need a quick pick me up because it’s so versatile and I don’t even need a mirror to apply.

And if you set it with powder, you have a glow-from-within look! I love how it makes my face look fresh even with just lip gloss too!
