My first impression of this mascara is that to be quite honest, I am not so much into 2-step mascaras because they don't work too well for me. Like the CoverGirl Bombshell Volume by LashBlast Mascara which is a two-step mascara didn't give me the volume and length that I was expecting or hoping for. Or K-Palette's 1-Day Magic Fiber Mascara which has real fibers that would adhere to your lashes to give you the false-eyelash look didn't do anything for me too.

My lashes are really just stubborn for complex mascaras like these. But it's still worth the try because I am on a constant look out for a good mascara because I won't know which one will work for me until I try them out right? So here goes.
STEP 1 is said to give EXTREME VOLUME on the lashes. Volume means it will double the look of the lashes to make them look thicker than they actually are. Its brush looks like Covergirl's Waterproof LashBlast Volume Mascara. Actually, it's only in Covergirl that I have seen this kind of mascara brush. You know, the chubby kind with really short bristles.
STEP 2 is an intensifying lacquer to give the lashes a polished jet black finish. I would have wished step 2 to give a lengthening effect instead of giving a lacquered look though.
Check out my bare lashes. They're really sparse, short and really thin. That's why mascara is really important to me because my eyes just look lazy and undone without mascara.
Even with step 1, the lashes are coated with a really black coating of mascara that's why having the step 2 as a lacquer is useless for me, wishing it would give more length instead.
Even with 2 coats of lacquer on the lashes, my lashes still didn't appear to be as black and as "volumnized" as the mascara promises it would do.
Although I have read some reviews online and this mascara has a lot of hype too! I guess I am just one of those girls who rarely finds a good mascara to hold the curl up on their lashes with mascara. So far, I have only a handful of mascaras that work really well for me.
Even though there are a lot of pros for this mascara, there are a few cons in which are important to consider. However for me though, even though they didn't really give me the look i was expecting, the positives outweigh the negatives.

It may not have worked too well for me, but I do suggest that you try it out yourself and not base your decision entirely on this post since my lashes are really stubborn.
