Evil Beauty

by - Sunday, May 17, 2009

Evil Beauty has a "charm" all of its own and is perfect when coupled with an equally bad-ass looking outfit. Lets get started making you look evil at work... but absolutely gorgeous!

Foundation: Pale, but matches your skin tone. We want you to look as if you have never stepped out into the sunlight. Forget the bronzers and other tanning powders you may have.

Concealer: If you have any areas that need concealing, I would suggest using a foundation brush and then stippling the concealer into place. It seems to give a much better coverage, but is seldom noticeable.

Contouring: Work a touch of neutral dark brown into areas beneath the cheekbones. Be sure not to go overboard, you should look like you have high cheekbones but still look natural. While applying... think delicate! We want you to look evil, but we are after the gorgeous side of evil... not the ugly. Makeup kits appearing at Halloween is what you should get if you are going for the real evil evil look. Try Stila's Contouring Trio or Fanny Serrano Face Powder in Toffee.

Eye Liner: Here is where you get to play with your makeup. While everything else is rather delicate, the liner is strong (or smudged if you prefer). If you can manage liquid liner, that would be my first choice. Follow up with a lengthening mascara.

Eye Brows: Brows need to be perfect. If you haven't checked them in a while, now is the time. If you need help, check to see if there is a Brow Clinic in your area. Have them professionally groomed and then all you have to do is take care of the maintenance.

Eye Shadow: Go for the smoky eye! If you don't know how to create a smoky eye, CLICK HERE. I made a previous post about the smoky-eye for morenas, but the same application applies for women with fair skin.

Blush: Rouge was once the only product used for adding color to the cheeks and it usually came in a deep red color. A touch of *scarlet is what you want to use for your "evil" look. We are looking for hot cheeks... so blend well. Try NARS powder blush in CRAZED.

Lipstick: To match the cheeks, I would choose a deep red or even a deep plum for the lips and perhaps even work a little *blue into the color to deepen the color even more. Try Lancome's Color Design Lipstick in Prune Drama Girl or Fast Fashion!
