I immediately fell in love with this liquid lipstick. As some of you may already know, I am a liquid lipstick kinda gal.

Let me start with the Pure Color Envy Envy Shine Lipstick in Arirang Pink: Much like the original Pure Envy Sculpting Lipsticks, the Pure Color Envy Shine come in sleek, dark blue with gold tubes with the Estee Lauder brand printed on it, along with a snazzy magnetic closure that snaps when they come close to each other. However, Envy Shine lipstick does feature a thinner, taller tube with a flattened tip.
Arirang Pink is a light pink with a little bit of blue undertones. The pigmentation is somewhat sheer and I was quite surprised that the finish was not that shiny (at least with this shade) - because I did a review of this lipstick when it was first launched last year and that shade was just awesome! You can find that post here. I was hoping it would be shinier like lip gloss, but this one was a little bit more subdued. It has a nice sheen but definitely not "high-shine". The formulation is very moisturizing and lightweight but the wear time is short, again, at least for this shade.
Layering it on is a must as you can see below the difference between single layers and ones that overlap, you can see the difference in pigmentation. These are moisturizing sheer lipsticks with a natural sheen that you can use when you do not feel like wearing too much lipstick. Comparing this lippie to the original Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks, which were rich and highly pigmented, these are quite not as WOW-ing, but equally fabulous is rich moisturizing formula. And if you are a fan of light, tinted looks, then you will enjoy these.

I particularly like having this in my makeup kit for those days I do not wear makeup but must have something on my face as to not look too washed out.
If you’re all about liquid lipstick, then you’ll be right at home with the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion. This lovely little tube is available in a wide array of sophisticated shades, which applies like a gloss but has the wear and finish of a matte lipstick. It really has that tattooed on lip color on your lips.

The formula is created using an infusion of jojoba and avocado oils. That’s the potion part! It's not at all sticky -It absolutely is non-drying too! I love how moisturizing this product is, even though I apply it on chapped lips.

The applicator is slightly bent which allows you to distribute the color well on your lips, even on hard to reach place, so you don’t have to keep re-dipping when building. They do have a slightly perfumed flavor and fragrance but it isn’t strong that is borderline sickening. It's quite pleasant actually.
Estee Lauder has successfully created a very lightweight, non-drying formula even if you apply it on lips with cracking, flaking, or a little bit of bleeding. Color stays put for hours, and doesn’t bleed around your lips through the wear and although it dries matte, it never feels or looks dry on lips. The smooth, satiny matte finish wears for a solid five hours before showing minor sides of fading. And even when it does fade, it won't look patchy on the lips with parts completely without color while some still has product.
You apply this lip potion right out of the tube with excellent opacity on a single swipe! It consists of a thin yet creamy texture that has an almost whipped mousse-like texture. They look very smooth and flawless on my even lips without adhering to dry flakes or falling into the natural lip lines. They do promise an eight hour wear, but as I have tested it during an even with cocktails being served, I got about five hours of flawless wear before I noticed a bit of fading.
