Well, summer's almost over, I said almost. And to cap the summer fun, The Makeup Maven collaborated with Fashion & Accesories Designer and Model, Cielo Fronteras of OLEIC for this lovely giveaway!
Before we get on it, I would like to let you know how to get this "Summer Solstice" look!
Let's get started with my base. You want to keep your foundation light but will give you nice coverage. I used Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse in Nude Beige Light. I love how easily it glides on the skin and you only need a teeny weeny amount to cover your entire your face!
For the cheeks I kept it light as well. I want to be able to control the amount of product I put on my cheeks with my fingers. I used Maybelline's Drea Bouncy Blush in Pink Frosting. I love how it looks airbrushed!
Choose eyeshadows that blend well together that would give a monochromatic effect. I love using Crescent Moon from Virginia Olsen as a base because it has a fantastic shimmer to it that brightens up the eyelid. Chameleon has a brown, green, and light gold rainbow hologram effect, so in some angles, it looks green, and some, it looks pinkish brown. I used the Blackstar Blue shadow to define my creases and the Blue Eyeliner to line my lashlines.
Line the inner rims of your eyes, or waterlines, with an ultra black eyeliner like Artdeco. This is one of my favorite brands of soft eyeliners because the effect is very very black! It doesn't turn gray or bluish. It's just really black. Plus, it glides easily too!
Use a very girly and innocent shade of pink for your lips like Snoe's Rouge Deluxe in Moonlight Marble. This is one of my favorite shades from Snoe! Then top your lips with a clear lipgloss.

- The winner who does not respond to the email in 3 days from the time of the sent email, a new winner will be picked from the pool and be notified immediately via email.
- Once the winner is notified, the winner should provide a scan or photo of PROOF OF IDENTITY (Picture ID) that you in fact exist.
- Please do not flood my email asking if a winner has been picked already. Winners will be announced on www.MusingsofaMakeupMaven.com on August 1, 2013, or via email.
